When will the judge rule on this?

No confirmed date yet.

From the article:

On Friday, Lazaro filed a report showing the courts and the sheriff’s office received that subpoena, and they have 14 days from the time they received it to hand over all the evidence being requested. [...]

[...]
Will the judge grant the no-contact order? Former Salt Lake County prosecutor Kent Morgan believes this will be a hard thing for the prosecutors to get.

In the WTD letter, Richins claims there are pictures and texts proving her claims. Morgan said it would only be considered witness tampering if Richins told her mother to tell people to lie.

“It is not clear that she is saying, ‘Mom, testify falsely for me. Would you, please?’” Morgan said.

Earlier this week, Richins claimed the letter was actually part of fictitious book she’s writing, not a letter to her family.

“If it’s not a book, is it trying to remind the mother of certain things that are helpful to the defense? Do they all have to be provable? No," he said.

Attorney Skye is protecting her client with this move and I’m going to agree with Mr. Morgan on this one. It will be a hard sell for the prosecutors (cease contact between the 2 women) to get. If she was witness tampering - different story. Additionally, why not focus on your (the state) case against the defendant and get justice for Eric Richins. moo. speculation.

It was pretty clear to me what she was trying to do. Put it before a jury.

DJ also accused prison authorities of giving Richins the wrong medicine so they could search her jail cell when she was not in it. He said authorities gave her the wrong meds six times. "One time is an accident. Two times is incompetence," DJ told ABC News. "Six times is — looks like it's on purpose."

Friday on “Dateline: Page Turner,” friends of the couple speak out about the ongoing case. Watch at 10 p.m. on NBC4.

DJ is grasping at straws here. Since when do prison authorities need an excuse to search a jail cell?

Has this narcissistic dingbat ever taken responsibility for anything? Has her family excused her behavior and her lies her entire life?

MOO.

All her immediate relatives saying she’s innocent. How weak.
While scheming a plot against her dead husband . AMOO
I‘m so surprised.

RIGHT?! They do random cell searches all the time
Not to mention the claims she’s been give the wrong medication six times. That alone is enough to raise suspicion that she might be up to something.
It sounds just like her, at least Imo, to use her standard MO ….. “drug/ poison ”…. in order to make herself look like a victim. JMO

Hahaha! Like KR gets to tell corrections officers where and when they get to search? Whoever DJ is, s/he seems to have no idea that following orders in prison is not optional. If LE tells you to leave your cell so they can search it, you gotta leave your cell. And if they want to make it a big surprise? Heck, they can invade the cell while you're in the shower. Prisoners have no expectation of privacy.

I'm guessing DJ is not the brightest bulb in the chandelier.

And it never occurred to him/her that Kouri might have been taking the "wrong meds" on purpose? Yep, "six times looks like it's on purpose" all right.

Knowing her she probably thought the book was going to make her millions in addition to the main reason she wrote it. Two birds with one stone. A win-win. Instead it’s a loss in the literary sense and a complete loss to her bank accounts.

The attorneys for a Kamas woman accused of poisoning her husband is requesting another hearing so they can ask the judge to officially sanction the prosecution. The defense team of Kouri Richins has also filed a motion fighting back on the state’s request to keep Richins away from her mother. They argued one of the reasons presented to the judge turned out to be wrong, so they believe the request to keep them apart is unfounded. One legal analyst said even if that’s accurate, that doesn’t mean the prosecution can’t get what they’re asking for.

Attorneys for Kouri Richins, a woman from Summit County facing charges of murdering her husband, have filed a motion to dismiss all charges against her.

Court documents claim that the prosecutors' actions have compromised her [Richins] right to a fair trial.

In a motion filed this Wednesday, it was argued that the state inaccurately labeled Richins with "witness tampering," an offense they hadn't officially brought against her, as per court documents.

[…]

In addition, the defense requested an order disqualifying the Summit County Attorney’s Office, moving the case to Salt Lake County, containing evidence related to the "Walk the Dog Letter," and instructing the jury to disregard the state's false claim of Richins' involvement in witness tampering.
