MOD NOTE

Lay off Kenzie's friends now or warnings will be issued and you may find yourself on the outside of the thread looking in. Tricia is traveling and she is not in the mood to hear about anyone bashing Kenzie's friends. Unless you have been in their situation, I would think twice about judging their actions and statements. These are young people desperate to find their friend.

Also, a note about power posting. Some members are dominating the discussion in this thread and that violates our TOS. There is no need to respond to every post. Let others talk.

This post falls at random.

Bringing over from the prior thread. The tip line is still active. :)
I can promise it isn’t working. I can’t really attach a screenshot of my email. Maybe someone needs to tweet them to post that its been taken down.
Please remind me -- was the number disconnected, no answer, busy signal? Let me know, and I'll tweet message to SLCPD. Thanks...
I just called the tip line and got a recording that says something along the lines of, "...Salt Lake City Police Department, if this is an emergency please dial 911...tip line for Mackenzie Lueck, case #19-111129...if you have a tip, leave a message..." then it goes to voice mail where you can leave a tip. MOO

Dear Websleuths members and guests,

A woman who has been reading at Websleuths reached out to me and said she was raped by A.A. In my opinion she is being absolutely truthful. She has agreed to let me ask her questions about what happened to her and what has happened since Kenzie was murdered.

When I post what she tells me we will not allow anyone to be snarky, judgemental, or behave in any way other than respectful. If you choose not to believe her that's fine. Just scroll by without comment.

Later tomorrow I will begin posting her story

Thank you
Tricia

Also, a note about power posting. Some members are dominating the discussion in this thread and that violates our TOS. There is no need to respond to every post. Let others talk.

This post falls at random.

I am bumping up liltexans admonition about power posting. I noted, on the last thread, that some members are still dominating the discussion. This forum is not a chat room. Keep the discussion relevant to Mackenzie.

Moreover, drugs and other topics like pimps, sex workers, prostitutes are not pertinent to Mackenzie. Continuing to speculate on these topics may place you at risk of losing posting privileges.

I cannot read all of the posts so I'm very confused about this statement from the woman who was raped by AA. Can someone explain?
The post explaining what happened to her has not been posted yet. A long post with more details will be posted shortly. I will try and put all her posts together later on. I was literally up all night so please forgive any mistakes.

Whatever he planned to do there, I think he'd end up filming and selling it as well. MOO.
I think so, too, which is why I don't think he intended to kill Mackenzie that night. I think he intended to profit off her while she was alive.

Thanks for the link, did we know this, anyone??

A man renting the basement Airbnb in Ajayi’s house reported seeing Ajayi burning pallets and what appeared to be a white door in the backyard of his home.
I don't believe I've heard this before, but it's been a while since I've looked over the details of this case.

Court documents outline new details in Mackenzie Lueck murder case
Ayoola Adisa Ajayi claimed he was burning pallets in his backyard.

But the man who was renting the basement Airbnb in Ajayi’s house told police he couldn’t believe Ajayi ignited such a fire in the Fairpark neighborhood, according to newly released court documents.

“Ayoola had the pallets and what he described as a white door on fire behind the garage. He said he stayed on the patio and did not approach the fire. (He) said a neighbor lady then started yelling at Ayoola and telling him if he did not put the fire out she was going to call the fire department. (The renter) said he could not believe Ayoola had ignited the fire in his backyard and went inside because he did not want to be involved with the incident,” according to a search warrant affidavit filed in 3rd District Court.

[...]

The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office could not comment Wednesday on whether investigators believe there was a second woman at Hatch Park, stating only that the warrants are based on preliminary information available to police at the time, and additional information will be flushed out during court proceedings.

[...]

Other warrants state that at least one man and possibly two were staying at Ajayi’s house at the time Lueck was allegedly killed.

One man, from Texas, said he awoke on June 17 to find Ajayi already awake, the warrant states.

“(He) walked outside to the driveway from the basement Airbnb apartment. (He) said Ayoola was sitting on a trash can in front of his open garage next to his Kia Optima. (He) said Ayoola asked him if he knew how to get gas out of a vehicle. (Ajayi) went on to say he had been trying to siphon gas out of his car and had been unsuccessful. ... Ayoola told him he wanted to burn some pallets that were stacked against the fence in the driveway,” the warrant states.

“Ayoola then told him he had been up all night and was ‘going on no sleep.’”

[...]

According to the returns on some of those warrants, some of the items seized by police from Ajayi’s house as potential evidence included knives, razors blades, scissors, a stun gun, sweatpants and a hoodie with bleach stains, shoes and socks with blood stains located near a washing machine, and “multiple pieces of cut up bone, located in (an) upstairs bathroom garbage.”

[...]

On July 15, Salt Lake police announced that new items of evidence related to the Lueck case were found in the Jordan River. According to a recently unsealed warrant, those items included Lueck’s University of Utah student ID card and “multiple items of women’s clothing strung along the bank of the Jordan River.

“All of the clothing found was cut with a sharp cutting instrument consistent with a knife, scissors, razor blade, etc. Among the items recovered was a bra which had been partially burned and melted and is consistent with articles of clothing that were burned at the initial dig site,” police wrote in the affidavits.

[...]

https://www.deseret.com/utah/2020/7...murder-court-ayoola-ajayi-preliminary-hearing

July 20, 2020

Third District Judge Vernice Trease ordered a three-day preliminary hearing to start Oct. 28, a development that comes after months of delays as attorneys have argued that investigators needed more time to sort through the evidence.

Ajayi is charged with aggravated murder, a capital offense, after prosecutors say he bound Lueck’s hands with zip ties, bludgeoned her and burned her body in June 2019. He could potentially face the death penalty if convicted.

[..]

Ajayi has not yet entered pleas to the charges of aggravated murder and aggravated kidnapping, first-degree felonies; desecration of a human body, a second-degree felony; plus obstruction of justice, a third-degree felony.

A 32-year-old U.S. citizen originally from Nigeria, he previously waived his right to a speedy hearing.

On Monday, he wore an orange jail uniform, glasses and a green face mask in the brief hearing held via videoconference from the Salt Lake County Jail. Court dates like Monday’s and the upcoming preliminary hearing are currently being held remotely under coronavirus restrictions in the state court system.
