Google says there are freight lines in Logan, Ut and the trains move slowly because the track isn’t in great shape.

"Located evidentiary items not far from evidence, link Alex to Lizzy. Also evidence within the home."

    Live Streaming
    From the PC:
    Officers located evidentiary items.
Those items have been forensically tested.
The results of testing on these items show they are linked to both the missing child and the uncle, both inside and outside the home.

Asking the public if they saw AW on Friday evening or Saturday, with or without ES, to contact LE.

Also asking the public to check yards, buildings, outhouses, containers, garbage cans.
(Did I hear that right? Do people actually still have outhouses?!)

LE has evidence that AW was involved in ES' disappearance.
    "We're putting together a case."

Will provide another update at 3 pm.

"Alex was located on foot, brought back to PD, he failed to identify and had drug paraphernilia. Booked on those charges. Was interviewed but uncooperative, made false statements."

"Searchers did find clues of “evidentiary value” near the girl’s home that police say indicate she’s likely nearby."

I can think of many things that could be associated with the little girl. But I can't come up with anything that I can imagine would specifically indicate, "she's likely nearby." Any ideas, guys? Or, do you think it's just clues of "evidentiary value" and thus, they're assuming she's "likely nearby?"

"Before transportation they served search warrants, obtained samples from Alex, sending to lab for evidentiary value."

Max speed is 40 mph according to a few websites I saw. But the tracks are not in great shape.

Logan Police say Elizabeth Shelley's uncle, the main suspect in her disappearance, has been uncooperative and made statements to police that investigators know to be false.

Kudos to all LE who ever have to handle a person like this. You know darn well what they FEEL like doing but they ' protect' the prisoner's rights even when it's against human nature to do so. I don't know how they do it. Thank you LE!

ETA These are my words ^^ , not from the presser. I'm just imagining what's going through his head while he talks.

    per presser:

LE are running down the timeline but are using the words "missing". No mention of "found". They are in possession of evidence that AW and Elizabeth were together both before *and* after she went missing. Everything AW has done has shown deception.

Logan Police say evidence at several scenes indicate Elizabeth Shelley and her uncle, the main suspect, were together outside of the home. He is in custody but is not cooperating with the investigation. Watch live:
