WEST VALLEY CITY — The father-in-law of a missing West Valley mother says her journals as a teenager shows she was "sexually open" and he plans to publish those entries on a website.

ELY, NEVADA -- —Police wrapped up their search in the deserts near here for evidence tied to the disappearance of missing West Valley City mother Susan Cox Powell.

Police confirm that information gleaned from a search warrant served after Susan Powell disappeared led them to Ely.

Chuck Cox, Susan's father, said West Valley Police called him earlier today, but said it&#8217;s a pretty deserted location and could be anyone buried out there.

He said he&#8217;ll wait for something definitive from the coroner or the police before he knows for sure that it is his daughter.

Possible Human Remains Found in Susan Powell Search

Powell disappeared in December, 2009, while her husband, Josh Powell, allegedly took their children camping at midnight in a snow and rain storm. The campsite he told police he went to is 30 miles away from the desert where the remains were found.
