When ever I see someone with a small height I always think they would be easy to find if they were reported missing.

When looking at reconstructions of teenage girls, I find the age progression pictures really helpful. They show more bone structure that the young faces usually do.

Its for that reason I've included the age progressed photo below. Look at the bone structure, but when comparing the "face" look at the youth.

    1. I think the age projected pic of Jane Louise is a close match to Jane Doe.
    2. The age matches
    3. Jane Louise is listed as 1" taller than Jane Doe, but that doesn't mean the information is accurate.
    4. There is no information about orthodontic work on Jane Louise - but it may have happened and is not included.
    5. They are both Virginia missing - unfortunately Google doesn't recognise "Bull Run Mountain" so I don't know how far apart they are.

This, once again, is so close its hard to believe the computer didn't spit out the possible match when Jane Doe was found.

    Barbara Jean Monaco

There is very little about her case available. The only information match is that they were both missing from Virginia. Barbara from Virginia Beach "Oceania". Jane Doe from Bull Run Mountain. Have the same problem, I don't know how far apart they are.

What's interesting in Barbara's case is that a witness said she was killed and put in a "lake". Is that where Jane Doe was found?

For a slightly different story that the Doe Network, about Barbara's disappearance go to http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/m/monaco_barbara.html

I think this is a good photo match.

Jane Doe on Left, Angela Rader on right

Same story as above. Not enough information to go on. Angela was missing from Roanoke, Virginia.

Although this is a really bad photo Angela's face seems to be a little rounder... but that can just be the was the photo is shot/degraded.

For a slightly different story go to http://doenetwork.us/cases/1563dfva.html

Also I know there is a thread on Websleuths about Earl Bramblett, the suspect in this case.

Great potential matches Gardenmom. Perhaps you should submit them on the Doe Network?

Virginia has compared all the missing women in that area to the unknown.

MarylandMissing thank you for the information about the "rule outs".

Anthrobones thank you for the information about Bull Run. Google maps just will not accept this as a location for me. I find this especially frustrating sometimes as only a County is listed, and Google Maps rarely recognises Counties, even though it appears on the map itself!

It did accept Broad Run, VA though! So that gives me a reference point.
It appears that there is easy access from a number of Hiways.

I try to check out the maps of the area where missing people are listed as coming from, or found in. Its a "tip" I learned from a detective who investigates missing people. I've found it to be invaluable.... now if only Google Maps would cooperate more often!

this forensic model looks much older to me. the bone sructure looks older.
    prehaps her age is off?

I thought the same thing Mjak... but I also thought that its perhaps the high cheekbones/chisel like features that are giving this affect?

Yes, I think that is what is giving that effect. However, I would not expect to
see such chisled facial features on a peson under the age of 16. Maybe its just
    a bad forensic bust.

I also noticed that the estimated date of death has been revised, on the Doe Network to 1979-1981

They also further describe the othodontic work as it was apparently unusual for the time period. They also put in a clearer geographical location.

If anyone is checking out this Jane Doe, I highly recommend taking a new peek at the Doe Network link as so much information has been updated.

Looks like it could be a possible match do to age and height. I guess they could tell for sure with the dental records.
