Seriously, the hallway wine stain again. Why is that considered important to this case?
Because both of Isaac and the LAPD officers (and the latter's bodycams), have testified there was in fact no wine in the hallways.

If there was no wine, then JD never went on his wine-slinging rampage (and keep in mind, this is almost assuredly red wine we're talking about, and the hallway carpets are pale, with that telltale diagonal stripe); and thus they made it 100% up (and then tried to get away with this ridiculous claim that, in the hour between the non-bodycam'med officers' arrival and those with the body cams, "they cleaned up").
I believe the makeup artist just said that she stopped the friendship because the drama was too much! IMO.
She did... I remember thinking how ridiculous her written statement was in the UK.
This witness seemed credible until now when she's saying she can see the bruises and swollen lip in the James Corden appearance!
Well, so did iO in his written UK statement at least, "it's only because I know Amber Heard so so well that I could tell her nose was swollen under that makeup", which; nice transparent try to fit in with the "yes, in 24 hours arnica and ice will take care of anything that makeup does not cover" insanity they've been pitching since Day 1; and thereby contributing, IMO, to the overall JD team perception that the AH claque conspired to give this narrative.
I do strongly believe this.

And why can none of them give a precise reason why they are no longer friends? It’s bizarre to me.
Because the reason is IMO damning to AH, and resulted after some form of knock-down, drag-out fight/realization on what type of person she is, which would in fact support Johnny Depp.
So, AH's testimony was that JD cut his finger on a phone, but she told this woman that he cut it on a bottle? Interesting.
That's 'cause she lies; and it's also IMO why we aren't seeing more objections from JD side. They know jury has not forgotten AH testimony.
Having followed all this case, that's my sense of it too.

If JD ever got clean and sober and went into deep recovery work from his childhood trauma followed by decades of substance misuse / addiction, he may come to realise, when taking inventory of the wreckage of addiction, that picking a poor choice of partner (or even getting into an utterly abusive relationship) is ultimately his responsibility and the consequences of that are being presented here in court. Carnage.

AH has definitely done wrong, she clearly needs to do her own recovery too and she is absolutely IMO profoundly unreal and dishonest with seemingly no moral compass. Maybe she's an incurable Narc with lifelong NPD? but she's probably also really really scared of getting landed with a $50m bill that she can't pay.

For the sake of his kids and her baby, then personally I can only pray for the both of them to get well.
As for the judgment, it's well known in lawyer circles and I can almost guarantee Elaine would have told her, everyone knows these numbers, as are some class action lawsuit numbers, designed as "on-paper" victories.

AH knows dang well, IMO, that nobody is going to expect her to pony up the ridiculous sum of 50 million, in much the same way no one would or will ever enforce JD's having to pay 100M/
I wonder what they were pictures of. If JD was there to pick up his things, maybe he was taking them off the wall because he wanted them and then he left them after all the arguing started.
FWIW one of the Eastern Columbia employees testified that they never saw JD enter the building again after that night, which is testimony indeed, IMO.

I was thinking as she/he said this, that the employees were probably internally on tenterhooks reviewing security video, waiting to be able to report to the others if he did come in.

Just catching up on the testimony and it seems to me that alcohol is definitely not Johnny Depp's friend.
MOO from listening to various sources is that JD is an introvert who struggles with human interaction and it would appear that he uses alcohol as a tool to enable him to interact, which wouldn't be such a problem on the odd occasion and he seems comfortable enough with his own people that maybe he didn't need the back up of alcohol.
This makes me think that he struggled a lot with his home, his quiet personal space, always being full of people, full of AH friends who he felt he had to interact with so maybe he started drinking more than he usually would and that's when things started to go downhill fast.

I do believe that he is a mean drunk, and I recognise the description, not to such extremes, in my own husband. I have always told him I can tell if he has had more than 3 pints because he goes from jovial and silly to being a complete arse after 4 or more (In an annoying and pompous sense, not a mean one).

I also believe JD has a very old fashioned view of relationships and that he thinks a man should take care of a woman, and she should want to be taken care of. He doesn't strike me as a 21st century man,and I do believe he can be jealous and possessive, maybe that didn't affect his previous relationships as badly because the other women weren't narcissists and didn't deliberately play to that side effects him to provoke a reaction, which I believe AH did once she realised what would push his buttons.

I hope he has come to the same conclusion re alcohol abuse and will stay away from it because that appears to be where his tolerance limit is. Drugs seem to be manageable for him in a calmer way (If that makes sense).

I agree with all your points. I would only add that addiction is a progressive disease no matter how slowly it progresses, it ALWAYS becomes unmanageable over ones life, unless getting into recovery, and the consequences become more extreme as one ages. Chasing much younger, emotionally unstable (read batsh*t crazy) women is a symptom of the same disease.

JD needs to get stone cold clean and sober and set an example to his children and fans. He could be an amazing spokesperson for recovery. If he doesn't break the cycle, break the pattern, then wait to see what the NEXT consequence is going to do to him. He is lucky to be alive and should act accordingly - with gratitude and action.

I also missed part of the testimony today, but listened when I could. Did anyone testify about locks this morning? Somehow I missed that fact that DeeDee bought up throughout this.
I can't imagine my reaction if someone changed the locks in my home against me. I would've had everyone immediately pack and get out - calling the police if they didn't. That's pretty outrageous. IMO.
...I've never been entirely certain the locks were in fact changed.

I believe/agree a locksmith was in fact called to look at the doors, because Isaac said he saw that person; people seem uncertain as to whether or not this was finalized (I mean, as a general rule I'm pretty sure if Johnny was the only person on the leases, Amber can't have them changed.)
Josh was talking like he went back to P5 to do something "regrettable" after talking to RP and the "catatonic" AH. But, Josh, I thought you said he had two body guards there and you needed to get out of there before something happened? But now you go BACK?

And this is because RP said JD pushed her? When it was RP's testimony that she put her hands on JD, who then pushed them off him? Really?
LOL, Josh had struck me as one of the more credible ones in terms of his UK deposition; but I did not for a minute believe all his macho posturing about screaming in JD face, taking him to task, etc., etc... this seemed far more like someone emasculated and cowed by the A-list movie star, making up that he in fact acted "tough and manly", as AH would probably says.
So, at the end of Josh's testimony, it gets pointed out that one of the dogs was too small to climb the stairs OR hop in the bed. One could and one couldn't.
Of course, he doesn't mention which one... not that I doubt he maybe couldn't tell them apart; then again, it seems surprising that of the two, the one able to clamber up on the bed would be that little butterball fatty fatty 2x4 Boo, as Amber described... also the one with a permanent messed up metabolism from eating the marijuana, she's been pretty plain about it.
Did the nurse (Debbie Lloyd?) testify to the incident WH just described? I don't know if I saw her.

I think it was just a pledge to throw something. Nurse can't feel an invisible Red bull can hitting her back.
LOL, as to the above IIRC Debbie Lloyd was asked about this during her testimony in Fairfax at minimum, and she said she couldn't recall; which is probably good practice as a general rule when you are in charge of a lot of people's private intimate details, including the nonfamous.
I can't even keep up with all the versions of the staircase incident. Did Travis say JD tore up clothes in P5?
I thought he said JD turned over racks, not tried to rend individual garments.
Just want to chime in about these people's lifestyle. It is chaotic and unsustaniable. For anyone who envies the Hollywood lifestyle, this should be an eye opening experience. But I guess some people get off on this kind of lifestyle - fast, superficial, and crazy. Makes them feel alive or something. I couldn't do it. All these people and their clinginess and lack of boundaries would drive me insane. And I agree that it explains why their bodies age so quickly. I mean, Johnny looks nothing like he did in some of these pictures of him a few years younger. I know he's gained some weight but still.
IMO this really becomes obvious when you learn the stories of just how many of these people go through life on regular abuse of uppers; which in turn explains why they, even IMO currently AH, start to put on weight when they go off them. They have effectively ruined their metabolism.

It also explains how they manage to get so much done in a day, lol. Many is the day I would have loved to get by on 4 hours sleep...
Yeah I know he's got a ton of fans (seemingly) on social media who are really sympathetic towards him. I felt sympathy towards him after seeing AH's cross especially after that audio where she's belittling him. That was vicious! I realize that AH probably drained him. But I think he has a lot of personal issues himself. He behaves like an adolescent imo.

Edited to add: I think he triggers sympathy in others because of this adolescent affect that he has. He seems so innocent and childlike. But if you stop to consider this man is almost 60 and that he did the most cliche thing and married an immature woman half his age. He doesn't seem to have any sense of responsibility. Destorying his own property, not keeping track of his finances etc.
I think it's been pretty well established at this point that his dreadful early home life plus resorting to stealing his mother's downers starting age 11, mucked up his psychological development through puberty.

Also, his relationship prior to AH spanned 14 years. Emotionally, he was effectively all but married for those years.
When did WH see JD hit AH? I missed it somehow.

ETA

Oh, when she said he grabbed Amber by the hair and was hitting her in the face with a cast. Okay. I remember now. SMH.
Yes, I guess the cast makes him impervious to being hurt, lol.
It's really getting under my skin when they say, "Raquel's apartment, Whitney's apartment, etc." Those are all Johnny's apartments.
LOL, I think they can't win for losing, b/c "Penthouse 1/3/5" is a big confusion; but if they say it in terms of who lived there, they look like posers claiming they own the penthouses.

Haven't been able to watch much of the trial today live.

Can someone help me out? I get the impression that Josh Drew testified that Johnny supposedly wrecked PH 3 and PH 5 in a rampage. And that the officers saw the damage when they arrive (walking over glass etc). Then they (Amber and friends) cleaned up some glass in PH 3 (to protect the doggies) but left the rest of the damage as it was. Then the second pair of cops arrived later and interviewed them?

Is that correct?

So are the penthouses furnished? Wine stain, stairs, broken glass, etc ... I can understand that if JoshD thought AH or RP were hurt to take pics of them, but why the concern over the broken furnishings? Was it their personal property? If I was at someone's house where there was a fight, I don't know why I would document the owner's broken things. While I don't think he is lying, these photos are bizarre.

Exactly! The only reason you would do that is provide evidence .. there is absolutely no other reason at all for Drew to go around taking these photos. NONE .. IMO
IMO, this is one of the large glaring reasons why JD has been insistently maintaining that to some extent, these people planned and orchestrated with AH in order to extort money out of him.

Thus all the heretofore-random seeming talk about whether or not one or two people called 911 that evening; who the people were; who took the photos of AH and when; whom AH called and spoke to (publicist, divorce lawyer Samantha Spector, other?); whether or not Amber was audibly/known to be at the time concerned with constructing a record of "evidence" specifically for a divorce trial and settlement, etc., etc.

Aside: I also thought it was pretty telling of AH to self-righteously maintain yesterday, that she was in fact entitled to MUCH MUCH MORE out of JD than she in fact got as a result of her (15-month) marriage... for some reason, I do not think this impressed the jurors, some of whom would probably consider themselves fortunate to pull down a six figure salary over the course of a year.

Issac said Amber came to him a day or two later with a key for the housekeeper. She wanted him to give it to the housekeeper, but Issac told her to take it to the front desk and leave it.

at the beginning of one of his team's Monday clips in the evidence folder, JD can be heard in fact telling Amber, plainly and with no mockery or sarcasm in his tone:

"I am an alcoholic."

...in other words, I'm pretty sure he knows, and is somewhere on the continuum of managing his problems with addiction, which as I've always heard/been told, is "a process".

I thought JD said they were in a fight and he was trying to hold her back and he accidentally struck her face with his forehead. Am I misremembering?

Of course she said he reared back and he head butted her with all his might.

I believe him. My Great Dane once accidentally head butted me. I had a black eye for over a week. Seriously embarrassing, but true.

Thank you!! I cannot believe that for some reason, I have never made the connection between the two events... how embarrassing. For some random reason, it seems I had thought, for some totally random reason known only to my brain, that the housekeeper always required a key, lol. This makes much more sense. Probably all the talk about "key-fobbing people in and out"...

Are you kidding me with that witness list!? A police expert and a social media forensic expert!? Ellen Barkin? OMG! I hope the video depos are short!
I find it very weird the "police expert" is testifying, instead of the 6 or so representatives of the LAPD at sergeant-level or above who sit on her witness list filed online weeks/months earlier... maybe they'll come in later.

For some reason, "police expert" in the hands of Amber Heard, sounds very much like "some biased academic who is going to come in and expound theoretically, about how all cops are potentially Derek Chauvin".

This is exactly why I no longer follow much of Hollyweird. They also dictate how we should be leading our lives but are hypocrites. To a certain extent information does come across news feeds so awareness is not a bad thing. I have not seen any of JD and AH movies nor on any talk show. I was aware that JD admitted his demons in public. I had not heard of AH until the results of the UK trial. They both as many of you have indicated are in a toxic relationship nearly from the beginning. All this living in penthouses, drugs of all kinds, alcohol, disruptive and destructive environment is certainly mind blowing. I can though understand that JD wants the truth known but wow for a very private person for so much coming out. MOO.
