Thank you for enlightening us on how a victim can react. I was one who made the assumption that victims of abuse always walk on eggs.

It's very understandable that a victim can spontaneously lash out when at their wit's end. I wish that some of JD's actions and words, when he was provoked or prevented from walking away, could be explained as such in this trial.

she also seems to want us to believe that Johnny Depp, an individual who also makes part of his living based off of his face, would decide to put a cigarette out in the middle of his cheek.

I call BS on this, as even if he does self mutilate I don’t know why he would do it on the moneymaker, you would go for the torso or similar; but she is suuuuuuuper jealous of his acting success, and I can absolutely see her doing it.

I would be curious to know if he put her on any of the deeds. Or ownership of the island.

CV asked AH numerous times if she had ever sought medical treatment or if any doctor had ever treated her for a broken nose injury. In true Amber fashion, AH kept answering that yes. an Ear Nose & Throat Specialist had been seen.. I believe she said it was a year or two after the alleged injury. AH refused to answer the questions Yes or No about whether any Doctor had ever treated her or diagnosed her for a broken nose.
Amid all the objections, AH blurted out that an ENT said she had “ fractures “.
CV finally got AH to admit that “ it FELT like he broke my nose “

I’m not sure what “evidence “ AH’s lawyers were trying to present today about an ENT visit, but the Judge absolutely would not allow it.

I think you probably know… her former assistant testified that AH would use three at a time as a weight loss aid, and then the buckets and buckets of red wine would come in, so she could ‘get to sleep’.

Assistant also said that as part of keeping up with the 80 hours a week Amber required her to dance attendance on her, she once stole half a Provigil from the stash and was up for like 36 hours… apparently a lot of actors abuse this drug for weight loss purposes.

Also, someone pointed out that AH would never have been seated next to JD at the Met Ball where she claims he ‘stood her up’ anyway, because one of Anna Wintour’s rules is not to sit husbands and wives side by side, to encourage mingling (very old school of her).

I don't think it's lost on the jury. At least I hope not. I see it. Even Amber's witnesses say it. IO said that the plaintiff confided in him. Depp thought the defendant was akin to his mother. Abusive.... IO told us that. Depp felt that Heard was as vindictive and as mean as his mother. No one denies her abuse.

Oh please… I too have been glancingly struck on the nose (an unintentional headbutt type as JD describes, which is why I believe him)… you learn in very short order that it feels more alarming than it actually is. Tingling in sinuses, eyes watering, and so forth… if he had hit her intending to break her nose, IMO her nose would have in fact BEEN broken; and to me, that’s why she had to double down insisting that oh no no, we’re missing most of this devastation because she’s such a whiz with ice and makeup.

After this, I should think she would be better off trying to join the makeup artists’ union than SAG, lol.

AH would ALWAYS go outside the bounds on each answer, talk talk talk. Sometimes never answering the question.

So, I luved that prosecution would immediately say: I move to strike everything said after the answer yes. And it would be granted!!

I love how Judge Penny and Camille seemed to work as a well oiled machine today to keep things moving and not allow any shenanigans eat up the Court’s time.

Especially loved at the end of the day when Judge reminded both sides that she requires their Jury questionnaires by Thursday. Camille said we already emailed them. Judge said that’s fine.

Then Mr. Rottenborn made a point of saying ( twice!) that he had been waiting a WEEK for them to provide this.

Judge Penny said “ I’m not interested in anyone’s finger pointing “.

Provigil, interestingly, is used in cases when it is necessary to increase wakefulness. Even more interesting, it might be used off-label to treat ADD in people who can not tolerate stimulants. In late 90es, when everyone knew that Provigil worked for ADD, Cephalon, the company-owner of the drug, made clinical trials. As ADD trials are started in kids, one out of 5000 ended up with Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which made the company hastily wrap up the studies. (But, it might still be used off-label in adults). Re. Amber H., if she had ADD, but (as I have read somewhere) was bipolar, Adderall might have caused side effects. Straterra is dubious being an antidepressant. Provigil could be an alternative. (Same might apply to ADD + anorexia, for example. Or maybe, AH she was overusing stimulants and the doctors tried to limit them). My two cents…

I don’t recall ever hearing of ANY abused person running around belittling, bullying and provoking a physical attack….and her supposed abuse photos are a complete joke. I was punched twice in the face by a bully with rings on and it definitely made marks and swelling in the face, especially when it’s near the eyes… she is just evil IMHO..

Absolutely. So many brave people on social media have shared pictures of their own battered and bruised faces after suffering attacks exactly like AH describes and they are brutal,devastating injuries that no amount of makeup,ice or bloody arnica cream could possibly hope to cover up and certainly not to a point that such injuries aren't detectable at all.

AH is a disgrace IMO.

Exactly what I wondered. Wouldn't that have been an important witness, to bring in a Dr to testify that she had a fractured nose in the past? Why wouldn't she do that----unless it wasn't what she is now trying to say it was?
