Lorenzo Smith Jr. (1982 Missing Person)

On June 20, 1982, Lorenzo Smith Jr. left the Middleburg Training Track with his employer to go to Saratoga Springs, New York.

Smith experienced a medical emergency which required a visit to a local hospital. Afterward, the employer reported that he put the Smith on a bus bound for Washington, DC - he never arrived, and he has not been located since.
If you have any information regarding this case, or any unsolved case in Loudoun County, please submit tip information. Please add as much contact information as you are willing to provide, your information will be held in the strictest confidence. You do not need to provide your name or contact information.

Am I understanding this correctly? He left Virginia with him employer on their way to Sarasota Springs NY, when he suffered a medical emergency but was then sent off by that same employer on a bus to Washington D.C?

Why the change in destination? Is there any way to verify that he got on a bus like his employer said?

Lorenzo, where are you?

The age matches up with this obituary. I think this is him and I have alerted the proper authorities. Hopefully his NamUs page will be down soon.

You got me intrigued with the same birth year, same name, the bus DC, and both served in the army. The only thing I can't tie into it is Virginia besides it being a military cemetary.

can anyone find any additional info on this man's disappearance
