Since his truck has never been found, does anyone know if local law enforcement has checked any of the local waterways? Based on Google Earth, I definitely see that Conley Pond could be easy to enter either by accident or purposely from Conley Pond Road. There are no guard rails in place. Please keep in mind that I have no clue how deep this pond is or if it could even hide a truck.

Good afternoon Sheriff,

I am nothing more than a private citizen who happens to take interest in cold cases. The case of Mr. Hensley exists on a website called Websleuths, which is how I became aware of it. I certainly do not want to waste your time, but with the recent successes of underwater recovery groups such as Adventures with Purpose, Chaos Divers and Exploring with Nug to name a few, the fact that Mr. Hensley's truck has never been recovered caught my attention.

I live in Richmond and so am not familiar with your territory, but a brief Google Earth scan brought Conley Pond to my attention, simply because it is close to Mr. Hensley's last known location and there do not appear to be any guardrails on Conley Pond Road. I was just wondering if your department knows if this pond is even deep enough to hide a truck or perhaps you have already ruled it out? The other close bodies of water like Farnham Creek, Totuskey Creek and Booker's Mill Stream do not appear deep enough to hide a vehicle, at least from Google Earth.

Again, the very last thing I want to do is waste your time, but thought if maybe there was a chance to help, I would reach out.
