Lord. The freezer two make me really confused about the other two. I mean, I doubt these victims climbed in the freezer themselves.
The son killed his parents and girlfriend, then killed himself.

Goodness my first guess was maybe the two not in freezer found the bodies in the freezer and wound up in dire straits. Somehow that’s worse.

The article says the girlfriend participated in the murders of the parents. It’s not clear if she is a homicide or suicide as she and her boyfriend had a suicide plan for December.

“Everybody in that household died at a different time frame with the son being the last one to be deceased,” said Carly Cappetto, public information officer for the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.

The bodies of the father and the mother were found in a freezer in the garage, Cappetto told KING 5.

“The mother and father had been deceased since sometime around the summer,” she said. “The son [and girlfriend] continued to live in that home for nearly six months or more when those deceased parents had been in the home.”

Deputies gathered enough evidence to determine Shane and his girlfriend were potential suspects in the murder of his parents, however it's unclear if the girlfriend's death was self-inflicted or if someone else killed her.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department did two welfare checks: one on Dec. 23, where a deputy saw no signs of obvious signs of smell or forced entry, and the second on Dec. 29 when authorities learned the son’s girlfriend posted online in November that she “was considering suicide with [the son],” documents state.

I looked at the facebook page... He's getting happy birthday messages in November,. <modsnip: discussing random comments/persons from social media page> Parents dead since the summer. No one noticed eh?

Following a thorough search of the property, deputies said they found notes on a refrigerator that read, "Time of Death July 24, 5:45 a.m." and "Time of death July 24, 3 p.m."

According to a search warrant, authorities first responded to the home on December 23, 2024, when two trucks were seen repossessing one of William's trucks from the driveway. Knowing how much William cared about his vehicles, neighbors grew concerned for his well-being. When deputies responded, they said there were no signs of forced entry into the home. As a result, they said they were lawfully required to leave the property.

Two more welfare checks occurred in the following days, but deputies said they still didn't have enough evidence to prove anyone was dead or endangered inside the home.

Following the initial three welfare checks, deputies were able to make contact with William and Eileen's other two sons. On New Year's Eve, those sons met with deputies at their parent's homes to check on them. According to a search warrant, they gained entry to the home by removing an air conditioning unit on the second floor.

Moments later, deputies said one of the sons exclaimed that he saw a woman dead in the home, covered in blood. Authorities said the body was of Shane's girlfriend, Sue Bin Lee.

Immediately afterward, a deputy entered the property and “smelled a distinct odor of body decomposition."

She said Shane Vosler is the suspect in his parents' homicides but it's unclear if Lee participated in the killings or aided him after the fact. Detectives found evidence showing Shane Vosler, who lived with his parents, and Lee "had collaborated suicide" but Lee "had clearly been deceased longer than he had" when the bodies were found, Cappetto said.

Lee's manner of death was ruled undetermined because "it's hard to say" from the angle of the bullet wound whether she shot herself or was shot by Vosler, according to Cappetto.

The investigation did not turn up a possible motive.

Evidently the parents did not have alot of contact with neighbors, which is why it took over five months to discover they were dead. The son and girlfriend had lived at the home since late June 2024.

I wonder what the motive for the murders/suicide is? Parents were killed less than a month after they moved in.

I find it absolutely shocking that 2 sons lived nearby... Do I have that right? So there may clearly be more than meets the eye here.

"We're going to be closing this case because we don't have anyone to charge," said sheriff's Deputy Carly Cappetto, a department spokesperson. "The medical examiner's report is a key piece of evidence and matched up to what we were leaning towards."

Oddly, on September 29th 2021, he had a post that his mom passed away and lots of condolence messages (usually crickets to all his crazy ranting). So if his mom died in 2021, who was this that he killed? Step-mom? Was ‘Mom’ really his grandma if she raised him? I’m confused.

William is the dad.
