UHC looks like a nonprofit organization.

She really resembles the missing Rio Boyd: https://findrioboyd.com/

I don't think it's her based on the details of Rio's disappearance, but the resemblance struck me nonetheless.

Hmm...not on NamUs yet, from what I can see. Hopefully she gets added soon. She seems to be dressed like the average 20-something uni student, with the socks and slides and the tote bag.

Was she possibly a student at a nearby university or college? I would show the sketch to staff working at nearby community colleges and universities and ask them if they recognize this woman, or if a female student who matches the description of the deceased stopped showing up last month. Ask students perhaps as well if they have a friend who stopped showing up to school or work out of nowhere in early April.

It's a good thought, although I think it's unlikely she's a student. The majority--maybe the vast majority--of students at UW (which is just down the street) live with family and commute due to housing costs and extreme scarcity of housing on campus. I'd think it pretty likely she would have been reported missing by now if she was, but it's definitely possible.

Nowadays I don't think you're even eligible for campus housing at UW if you have family within 50 miles of the university.

I imagine this is the case for most colleges in the Seattle area, although maybe not to the same degree and I'm sure there are exceptions.

If she had been found on a Sunday or Monday I'd have wondered hard if she was affiliated with the weekend farmer's market at the University Heights center (which, OT, I am happy to see is still a thing! I haven't been to it in almost 20 years), but since it was a Tuesday that also seems unlikely.

I guess that would be possible if for some reason the center was shut down on Monday 4/3, but I don't see why it would be, and either way I don't know how I'd go about figuring out if it was or not.

Looking at the University Heights center a bit more, its operations nowadays are quite different than when I lived there. It looks like now there are a lot of human services running out of there, so what seems likely to me is she went there to wait for it to open and access services and died there, which is just impossibly sad to think about.

It doesn’t seem too likely now that I rethink it. It’s possible but unlikely.

She could possibly not even be from Washington State and could just be traveling. She could be just another woman. Just some woman. If you know what I mean. She could be anyone! Maybe if she’s on the older end, 23-25, she could have been a recent graduate. Maybe they’d still recognize her. Maybe just post her sketch around the location where she was found and near some places where 20-somethings frequent like nightclubs. Check if anybody knows her. It seems pretty solvable.

So you think she just plopped? Could be a possibility as she wasn’t noted to have been killed AFAIK. Possibly a medical condition? Very sad. She was so young.

Medical condition, drugs, maybe hypothermia (not sure what the weather was like at that moment), any of those are possible. Like you said, there was no mention of her being murdered, so it probably wasn't that, but who knows.

Right. She was young and I know, “young and dumb”. I’m a few years younger than her. I’m in my late teens. Trust me, I see it all the time. Between the ages of 14-24-ish you’re young and dumb, y’know, vaping, drugs, doing stupid challenges, etc.

I don’t see anything on the autopsy or toxicology report. I don’t even think she’s in Namus yet.

I’m also gonna throw this one out. Possible heart disease, liver disease, or diabetes because of being overweight. She’s listed as 5’7” and 225 pounds. Her BMI is listed as 35.2 given those stats. That’s considered obese. I’m well aware that BMI isn’t the most accurate indicator of health or fitness but just by looking at her sketch she has a more rounded face, like a fattier face, more filled out. That’s unlikely but possible, especially if she struggled with being overweight since childhood.

Absolutely. I lived in that neighborhood when I was 19 to I think 24, I am pretty well versed in both finding and avoiding trouble in the U-District.

I just noticed she was found with a "tan wicker type tote" and would really like to know what if anything was in it. I assume there wasn't a wallet or phone because if there was she would probably have been ID'd... I was thinking though, I don't know how it is nowadays, but when I lived there street robbery was pretty common. I could see a scenario where she was in from out of the immediate area late at night, got jacked, had no phone to call a ride etc., took shelter at the center for the night and died of hypothermia.

If it was raining that night and/or was unusually cold I'd think this was the second most likely scenario after drugs. That unfortunately doesn't really get us closer to IDing her though.

I was thinking a phone or a wallet, if the wallet didn’t have any ID in it it at least had cash. I would say check the phone if there is one but of course you can’t get into it without a password. I’m sure a phone number can still be found and connected to a person, and they find the name that way. JMO MOO

Sydney West and Jane Doe together for comparison. Noses and face shapes are similar IMO but Jane Doe has a rounder face.
Edit: The forehead! Does Jane Doe have a scar or birthmark not listed?
