The group photograph taken at a National Guard training facility in Arkansas sparked a furor on Facebook, in military chat rooms and other social media, where people saw it as disrespectful of veterans and those killed in action. Is anyone else worried that we are putting people who make decisions like this, in charge of our national safety? I mean, I get the fact that at times the job can be stressful, and they need to let off steam. But there are better ways. And she's getting death threats now. Is she really surprised? Put yourself in the shoes of a family who has lost a loved one while serving. Would you be happy with this photo? Maybe the military needs to be more selective in their recruitment process.
