WHOOPS. Yes, we have been asked to participate in a nationwide poll but I am putting it together now and this was NOT suppose to go up just yet.

I swear, if there is a way for me to mess something up in a geek way, I will find it.

IGNORE THIS THREAD FOR NOW. LOL.

Although it felt good to actually be able to DO something reagrding this case I wish we were asked: "Do you believe the crime scene was staged?" I guess answering all the other questions pretty much suggests if it was staged or not.... Just me I suppose.

Tricia, I know you have been very active in the persuit of justice for JonBenet. Thank-you for an amazing forum and all your hard work. I'm sure it's more than a coincidence that Websleuths as been asked to participate.

    Thanks! :blowkiss:

I had quite a few difficulties with several questions, for example with
"Was JB's death premeditated or an accident".
Imo it would have been far clearer if the accident had been called 'rage attack'.
For a rage attack, while not premeditated, is no accident either.
Calling it an accident diminishes the severity of the actual attack on JB.
In addition, by calling JB's death an accident, this might lead people not familiar with the case to believe that e. g. JB merely fell down the stairs (with no parent involved ) and that the Ramseys tried to cover that up.

Imo Dr. Lee brought a lot of confusion into the JBR case discussion by calling her death an 'accident'.

I voted. Was kinda surprised the first question didn't ask about John's possible involvement - it was all about Patty.

Another question I found difficult to answer:

If one answers with 'yes', this makes it appear as if John had been an accomplice in the actual 'murder' of JB, and not 'only' in the subsequent staging.
But what if one thinks that Patsy did it, but it was not a 'murder' at all, but a rage attack followed by a cover-up?
In that case one can't answer this question at all.

I'd have put it like that: "Do you think Patsy had any help in the later staging of the scene?"

The same question could be asked re John, for those who think John was the perp: "Do you think John had any help in the later staging of the scene?"

The questions can be found here:
