I think we all are just investigating anything and anyone hoping for some kind of miraculous revelation just because we have been given so few verified facts by LE. I guess we just want to keep it from becoming a cold case. The only way to do that is to discuss these tidbits of information. But I also agree that they probably have nothing whatsoever to do with the case.

But see? I don't see any tidbits. I see Busy's suspicions about them, and vague references to "out there" paperwork to show why she has those suspicions, but I see nothing which would lend itself to drawing a line between the Lauramore family and Haleigh's disappearance. While I respect Busy's belief in her research and her instinct, it is here in this forum where she is bringing information .... and only partial information .... for people to say "hmm, she's right. They're sketchy pond scum types and any pond scum types should be looked at."

I appreciate the work; I really do. But I need to know where she's going with this work. Where does it begin, what does she believe would be the L's motives for determining on the night of Feb 9/morning of Feb 10 to enter into someone's home and snatch a beautiful little girl.

Do you see what I'm saying? These people are on a distant outer ring of this case. What causes Busy to be so concerned about them that she draws a line from the inner circle where Haleigh is, to the outer ring where they are, and whose orbit did they have to cross to get there, and why would they take the risk?

These questions are for ALL people anyone wants to suspect; don't get me wrong. And I'm not challenging Busy's work; I want to understand it, and I'd like to be able to say "well, gosh. That makes perfect sense." But as it stands, right now they're just creepy a$$ed people doing creepy a$$ed things and getting into trouble like creepy a$$ed people should. But that is not enough to say they were the creepy a$$ed people who took Haleigh.
 
Deb I guess it is all how you look at it and who you think might be involved in Haleighs disappearance to determine who is in the inner and outer circle. There was a thread at one point on Johnny Jack that outlined some of the research - some of it is court documents, some of it is info obtained from locals, myspace, and Sheffield family members. The thread may have disappeared or moved to parking lot not sure.

In a nutshell the Lauramores had issues with RC before Haleigh went missing. Amanda is one that provided info on RC hitting Haleigh etc after Haleigh went missing. The family dynamics going back to Johnny Jack Sr, Marie and Crystal are important IMO. Marie lost custody, Crystal lost custody, Amanda lost custody all to people they claimed were abusive to children. Johnny Jr disappeared for a bit after Haleigh went missing. The system in their opinions did an injustice to them. If they felt like they couldnt win in the system but needed to protect the kids, I can see them taking the risk though I don't think it would of been with Crystal's knowledge. Per court records breaking and entering isn't a problem so the knowledge is there.

I am not saying I think J.L. or Amanda did plan and take Haleigh, I am saying with all the info on them it can't be ruled out and is worth looking into, just as some feel it is worth looking in to Donald S. Ten months have gone by and I for one do not know what happened to Haleigh and I am not ready to just stop looking at everyone because the majority feel like the Cummings family is responsible. So when something new pops up I feel it is worth throwing out there, I don't expect anyone to jump on the bandwagon when I put something out there, I put it out there because there are people that are interested in the L family. If I would of run across a Cummings family member on the booking log when I looked this morning I would of thrown that out there as well, even though I don't think they are involved, but others do so IMO all info that comes up should be thrown out there so that those that may be interested can consider the info.
 
all these peripheral sex offenders within the family, having possible access, knowledge and or relationships with Haleigh and Jr. need to be looked at. Custody and lewd lasicvious acts upon children makes for mitigating behaviors that make me stop in my tracks looking at this case in a "Big Picture" way.

We need to keep up with all the sex offenders, known, arrested, family, and stranger offenders within the area on a separate thread as they really can't be discounted out of the realm of suspicion unless LE definately knows who is guilty, and that still doesn't help us out cuz they aren't sharing with the public.

As an inquiring mind, I would be interested in keeping an eye on them til we have an arrest. Wonder if there's an older sex offenders thread here in Haleigh's forum?
 
Taking into consideration I haven't believed Haleigh was ever abducted since I saw Ronald Cumming's first plea, I feel it is of utmost importance that all the men related to Ronald Cummings should be investigated and kept on the radar.. He had to call on someone that night to help him and I doubt any of the women readily agreed to help out with those plans.I don't believe he would trust a friend, since he claims he didn't have any and I don't believe he would trust any acquaintances either..IMHO.. This was a job that had to be taken care of by himself and perhaps a close family member...Someone, who he knew would never talk... JMO
 
Sorry to post and run but I'd like to add my humble 2 cents...

JJL(jr) needs to be looked at closely for the following reasons;

He lives IN Satsuma
He has a lewd lasicvious on his record
He knew - OR KNEW OF - HaLeigh (non-stranger/acquaintance)

I am by no means saying that this person is guilty of/or involved in HaLeigh's disappearance but I do believe that it's important not to be tunnel visioned in this case and to look at ALL "real" possibilities. JMHO -
 
Busy, I have a question. Do you know if the Kanger who wanted child support from Amanda is the ex step daughter of Ruby? Just wondering if Marty's MIL is also a link in this chain? TIA
 
I think it is important to be careful regarding sex offenders. There are different levels. For instance that guy who Misty testified against was 16. He will be a sex offender forever and it may not have been against her will. I would need more background on this guy before I'd throw him to the wolves. He may have taste for teenagers like somebody else we know.

If this was a teenage thing, he may be more interested in Misty than Haleigh. In fact most SO's would as they tend to fall more in the young teen or prepubescent catagory....Misty looked younger than 16 too. Taking a 5 yr old who was as small as a three year old takes a special kind of SO.

Or are you suggesting that he was not interested in Haliegh as a victim but more as a favor for the Sheffield family?

How is Haleigh's great uncle related to Haleigh? I don't see the relationship on him either but people are discussing him.

This uncle has been quoted as saying "I don't squeal on kin" and has been known to have been very very close to Ronald, close enough to have had him in his home living there for a time. Thus, he takes himself straight to the next orbit out from Haleigh, to her father.
 
I did not see jjl listed as a sex offender. Did I not look in the right place? I went back three years only. Not much there...it shows he is a thief and a reckless driver. His three year history is benign compared to others in this case.

Maybe I need to go back further.

I believe it came from AH's site, but nevertheless does not remove the other aspects as I've stated them for why Uncle Donald is discussed.

As far as Uncle Freddy, isn't he Donald's brother?
