In regards to the statement I bolded, I wonder who Flora meant by "the wife of another Croslin sibling"? She stated Tommy told her the story about what happened to Haleigh, the wife of another Croslin sibling told her where they dumped Haleigh? Which other sibling would know? This statement has me :waitasec: Could she mean Lindsey? Or Chelsea?

I had posted this in the phone call thread and we also discussed it on the NG thread. Going on memory here, forgive me if I get the sources mixed up.
I don't have the transcript handy, but yes Grandma said on NG it was one of Croslin wives. I think that is the day Chelsea called in and grandma went off her, and it was also mentioned that Chelsea was the one who told her about the area of the St.Johns river if I recall. It was also reported on Art's site that Chelsea had told LE about this area months ago and she felt ignored. Chelsea also said she had given the letter to LP that Misty sent her regarding the river/Joe, which I found odd. Why not give it LE? That is what made me think that since LP is helping Lindsey out maybe it was some type of set up for Lindsey to go up to MA and try and get info. Lindsey is not working and she took that trip with the children, someone must of helped her pay for the trip I would assume. Maybe LP? She went before Tommy's court date of March 31st and a couple of weeks after the river was searched and she files for divorce. Maybe a coincidence.

Is he referring to Ron knocking M. around and throwing her and her cloths out of his trailer OR IS it: what was happening the 3 days she was NOT at R.'s trailer.???

We know Misty didn't want to babysit Ron's children that night, so why should anyone have expected M. to do the kids dirty laundry that night?

The pictures looked as though the laundry had not been done since she had been gone. What was he expecting out of the babysitter, a cook and laundry woman too??
He'd thrown M. out, it was Ron's responsibility to do his kids laundry.
If my so-called lover had thrown me out because he thought I was carrying his child, I wouldn't have gone back and did his dirty laundry..

So what was going on at R's trailer in the days leading up to H.'s disappearance? Let's hope the neighbors have enlightened LE.

Unbelievable.

I think it was Chelsea who called Flora and I believe the reason Chelsea was ticked off on NG's show was because she thought Flora was taking credit for what Chelsea said. Later, though, we found out Tommy DID make a call to his grandmother. Things were hopping and everyone was spilling, thinking they'd better come clean before they got into deeper trouble, imo. They somehow knew there was a leak, info was starting to come out.

I wouldn't be surprised if dozens are involved in this mess, taking the meaning of "Persons of Interest" to a whole new level.

Yes, and ya know ....after hearing last night that Chelsea was trying to sell the latest letter that Misty wrote her from jail....I am full of questions. There was a report on Art's site that Flora had applied for the reward in Haleigh's case, now this from Chelsea last night about selling the letter. I am just dumbfounded. I am wondering if maybe what we saw between Chelsea and Flora was a battle over who the tipster is for the reward money. I hope all the tipster's realize the reward has a stipulation for a successful conviction as well( as Patty G pointed out for me! : )

Elle, Lindsay is not stupid. She had to know what was going on. She was married to him for 5 to 7 yrs(?) and she knew he did drugs, beat up his OWN FATHER, robbed a elderly blind man, stole from neighbors (and escorted the police to where the stolen items were in her home.) He even let many drug addicts live in their home: Lisa, Hank Sr. Misty, Nay Nay. What did she think when he was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car after dropping off his children at the bus stop.

IMOO LC has know a lot for a very long time.

I think LE has uncovered it all. Who she was with the entire 3 binge days. What she and Ron were fussing about . Who all they called in the days leading up to Haleigh's disappearance including the earl morning when she was reported missing.

Well I am from the old school Mystery. I was cooking, washing clothes, cleaning and tending to kids and I was much younger than Misty was when I started. If she was living there with Ron, then yes, she should have pulled her own weight. He was working.,.she wasn't. It certainly wouldn't have hurt her in the least. Maybe Ron had to work those days. Some of these kind of plants can have six or 7 day shifts.

I really only think she did her and Ron's clothes and only when they ran out of everything to wear. IMO, Misty was lazy and a terrible housekeeper even though she wanted to play house with Ron when she wanted to. I think she stuffed the dirty clothes in the dryer so he would think she had washed some of them up.

I believe GG Sikes had always washed the children's clothes and all the pictures I have seen, even when they weren't posed shots, Haleigh was dressed so clean, neat and pretty.

The most important part in the article to me is it states LE knows what happened the night that Haleigh was taken.

elle, she very well could be. Let's face it, her home wasn't that big, I mean it wasn't big enough for Tommy to conceal things that he stole, and she led the LE directly to these items. I just don't understand how you could have 5 drug abusers living under your roof, and not be concerned for your children.

I really don't want to go into TC be Drugged up and pasted out over his steering wheel AFTER dropping off his child/children.

I do not believe Lindsay is personally involved, however, I think she has known a lot for a long time.

The tipster may be someone we have never heard about or it may be one of the Croslins who are very close to Misty, Joe or Tommy and one or maybe more of them confided in this person and trusted them when they shouldn't have.

Someone who has the decency to do what is right even though it may involve their own family members.

I do not think the tipster was granny Flora.

She seems to have the need to tell everyone what she knows when she learns it.

IMO, If you MAKE me pick a tipster for the search, I'd say Lindsey was likely the catalyst that pushed the actual tipster Tommy to tip his info about the river search site, how Haleigh was placed there, and by whom.

... proof being their jailhouse convos, where we hear Lindsy nudge Tommy again and again that must take the LDTs and talk to PIs & counsel & LP, and how she insinuates that it's not worth her staying around waiting so long ... so... unless he talks to these people ...

Apparently, when Tommy was finally ready to tip, he had to call Granny Flo in order to reach Lindsy to set up his confession meeting(s). Granny Flo must have been the only one with Paytel minutes left. (good investment there, Granny Flo ... and Granny thought she'd recoup some investment by calling in Tommy's "tip" herself...but that's another story...)

Did Steve B's proclamation that he'd "solved the case" come AFTER Tommy was interviewed by FDLE with his lawyer?

it's a head shaker, but I think Tommy's the likeliest "tipster" that actually has worthwhile info.

Lindsy likely surmised that Tommy was holding back to protect his sissy, or to protect Lindsy & her kids -- that was okay with her until Tommy was put in jail over it, and she had some outside counsel to help her think clearly. (Lindsy's grandparents, and, I'm guessing, LP being those supporting Lindsy.)

JMHO...

I think Lindsy already knew the story. He may have told her then told her he was just lying. But I think she has known for sometime the intricate details. Even Tommy said she knew.

What he didn't know imo is she told LE what she knew. Maybe afraid that she would be pulled in and implicated for keeping it a secret.

The only thing that is puzzling LE said way back in December 2009 that they knew what had happened to Haleigh the night she was taken.

And then when they held their PC about the river search both Bowling and Hardy stressed it was the prior few weeks in their investigation that had brought them to where they were in April.

So I tend to believe there may be more than one who is talking now and both of these people's stories are lining up with each other as well as the ongoing investigation that has been done for 15 months now.

When Tommy spilled the beans LE knew that this time he was telling the truth because I think the details he gave lined up with the people who tipped off LE. LE seems to be guarding them closely and are vigilant that their identities are not revealed.

I'm not sure. Here is a list of who I think (at this time) might be the tipster.

1. An unknown person within the community. Hopefully not someone that heard it from the following.

2. Chelsea stated that she has been telling the LE to search the dock area for a very long time (she doesn't state how long)

3. ToC is said to have given that location.
(I can't remember exactly who stated that, and that's important JMHO)

4. GmaH said she was told by MC (did she also say ToC?) and just related what she was told.

Any of the above. All of the above or none of the above

The FBI gentlemen who worked for CS for 10 months may have gotten info I am thinking form one small little person
The reason I state this is I have work with children who have been a victim of violent crimes for quit sometime. Given the right therapist and time to mature to a state where they can describe their thoughts better, I have had children younger than Jr. Come back years later and tell things they had seen or heard in detail and draw pictures that most people would think had no meaning but we were able to solve a crime with them.
Maybe not everything but a little piece here and there that started the ball rolling.
Then ToC stated singing his tune and what LE already had maybe made a complete puzzle.

Though older at the time of her sister's abduction, reminded me of Smart's sister who had recalled a memory of the abductor months after her sister's kidnapping.
