Is there a thread on the Mueller investigation in general?

Mr. Levine, I am glad you are rehabilitated from the crime(s) of which you were convicted and I appreciate you sharing your expertise here. But I am also disappointed that you still call someone a "rat" for telling the truth, but a "real man" for concealing the truth. I would hope rehabilitation would include leaving that prison value system behind.

I say use Cohen to get more of these crooks. Ultimately what is at stake in our country is that the rich do not pay their fair share and that's why we don't have new roads, new bridges, better education, etc. They do NOT pay taxes like the rest of us. Taxation without representation.

Rule 35 can, no doubt, work in his favor depending on how he plays this. He can disclose information to reduce his sentence on one hand, or be paid to be quiet on behalf of the highest bidders on the other. I would guess he will do a bit of both. We'll never know the truth.

We had bridges, roads, schools, hospitals and colleges long before there was an income tax. It always amazes me that for all the arm waving and rhetoric about unfair taxation, we still don't have a flat tax rate.

Flat tax rates make too much sense. I definitely support the idea, and its simplicity and fairness, I just don't believe it will happen.
