Identified! WI - Ashford, I-41, Wht/HispFem 15-21, 764UFWI, in creek, Nov'08 - Amy Marie Yeary

I got an email back!!

Apparently I was on the same wavelength as the detective, because they sent an inquiry about Heather Miller to Peoria, IL on the 22nd. :detective:

Unfortunately they have not heard anything yet.

Also, didn't see this posted but the detective let me know about a link on their page with LOADS of mock-up pictures with the mannequin and the clothing. (I had not seen these yet)

Attached is a link for a UID woman in Fond du Lac county.

Fond du Lac County authorities are asking for help in identifying a female body found in the town of Ashford on Nov. 23.
Fond du Lac County Sheriff Mick Fink said investigators believe she died in late summer or early fall, but her identity remains a mystery.
The Sheriff’s Department held a news conference Monday morning to talk about the investigation.

Authorities said that the victim was 15 to 21 years old and was white but possibly has Hispanic ancestry.
Fink said she was wearing a Zoey Beth brand black top and size three Angels brand jeans and was probably knock-kneed and pigeontoed.
The victim weighed 110 to 135 pounds and had long, light brown hair, Fink said.

I haven't received anything else about it from the detective. :( Has there been anything in the news about it lately?

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Department wants to put a face on the "Jane Doe" homicide.

No strong leads developed after investigators presented a mannequin in late December dressed in the exact clothing of the woman whose body was found the morning of Nov. 23 in a wooded area behind W4617 Skyline Drive in the town of Ashford.

Now, Lt. Bill Flood is turning to technology to help solve his detective bureau's only "Jane Doe" case.

"What we're doing now is utilizing the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to digitally reconstruct her face based on photographs of the skull and her face as it appeared when we found her," Flood said.

The wait for the digitally reconstructed face could take three months. If that process is unsuccessful, Flood said he is talking to forensic experts about possibly reconstructing the woman's face with clay.

Flood added that all information on the "Jane Doe" homicide was re-entered with a dental profile into the National Crime Information Center.
"We have gotten a couple pages of possible hits (from the NCIC)," Flood said. "Some of them can be ruled out by just looking at (race or gender)."

He noted help may arrive when the University of Texas finishes using skeletal remains to create a DNA profile that can be entered in the Combined DNA Indexing System, a FBI funded national database.

Investigators Hope To Identify 'Jane Doe' With Composite Sketch

Girl's Body Found Last Fall In Rural Fond Du Lac County

POSTED: 5:30 pm CDT June 9, 2009
UPDATED: 9:48 pm CDT June 9, 2009

FOND DU LAC -- Investigators released a computer-generated photo of a young woman found by hunters last fall in rural Fond du Lac County.

They're hoping the picture will give them the break in the case they've been waiting for.
Investigators call the young woman Jane Doe.
Police said that an examination by a bug expert suggested that the young woman was dumped in the creek around Labor Day 2008 where she remained for three months until the hunters found her.
Six months later, Fond du Lac Sheriff Mick Fink begged the media to blast the airwaves with the picture of their Jane Doe.

Thank you for posting this cleo. We have a thread on this little Jane Doe. I will link here as there was valuable info on her clothing and even some possible matches that don't seem to have been resolved:

ETA: I have sent a message to Christine asking her to merge the threads.

Holy Carp!! Hey guys! What about this one....LOOK Pleasssse!!!
http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/e/espinoza_yesenia.html
Look at the eyes!! Look at the chin, cheeks, eyebrows..everything!..She disappeared in June and was 14...height is a little off, but we all know about growth spurts! Anyone advanced enought to do a side by side?? Am I going crazy?

Very close in facial similarities. But Yesenia was from CA - I can't begin to imagine how she would wind up in WI???

LE is certain that our UID was pigeon-toed or knock-kneed. I sure hope that if she ever was reported missing - one of these characteristics has been noted!

Looks pretty close to me. Here's a sbs.

Ah, myspace. I checked myspace for some of these women:

Kelsey's last login was 6/9/09 and she posted that she's having a baby girl. Looks like that's why she ran off. I guess that it could have been LE checking her account, but still...

Yarely last logged on today.

Jennifer's last login was May 30, 2009 - it looks like she's left Iowa and moved to California. There's a comment by someone whom I think is her brother about how happy she looks, and it's dated in November '08.

So the others are not on myspace or haven't logged in for a long time. I think that their various locations and the circumstances of their disappearances make it unlikely that they could be this girl, though. I think that she is either a local and no one has reported her missing, or she could be from Canada. Another thing I find interesting is how similar this case is to the Alameda County Jane Doe case: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art27380.asp (Yesenia Becerra Nungaray). Maybe this Jane is an immigrant and no one knows she's in the country.

Thank you stella for checking MySpace, I'm glad those girls are all alive and accounted for!

I also think it looks like her....her description, age, height etc seem to add up...I think you should submit her!
