I agree with your comment that Damian is a sociopath. As you probably know, sociopaths are a product of their environment and this is obviously the case here.

The uncle is an absolute brute. Can you imagine how that little boy struggled and suffered during those 2 hours. The sneer on Damian's face in court said it all. He'll learn what it's like to be on the receiving end once he enters prison. People like him deserve to be locked up for a very, very long time.

Newton boy's death: Attorney files motion to dismiss complaint for 7-year-old's guardian

"MANITOWOC - A hearing to rule on a motion to dismiss the criminal complaint for Timothy Hauschultz was filed Monday just hours before Timothy, Damian Hauschultz and Tina McKeever-Hauschultz appeared in court for their initial appearances.

Timothy Hauschultz's attorney, Donna Kuchler, filed a motion to dismiss a defective complaint on Monday. The document states: "The complaint is defective because it fails to provide adequate notice and specificity for counts 1-6. The complaint is also defective because it fails to prove probable cause to support counts 1-6."

The hearing was scheduled for the same time as Timothy Hauschultz 's preliminary hearing — 2:30 p.m. Feb. 18.

    A preliminary hearing for McKeever-Hauschultz was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Feb. 20.

Damian Hauschultz also appeared for an initial appearance, but it was adjourned because his attorney, Edward Hunt, was unavailable. The initial appearance was rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. Feb. 18.

Damian Hauschultz, 15, faces charges of first-degree reckless homicide related to the death of a 7-year-old Newton boy in April. He is also charged with three counts of substantial battery and three counts of physical abuse of child — intentionally cause bodily harm...."

Bond set for all three suspects in child death

    Feb 4, 2019

"Bond has been set for three people accused in the death of a 7-year-old boy in Manitowoc County. Monday marked the first court appearance for all three suspects since they've been charged. Timothy Hauschultz, Tina McKeever-Hauschultz, and Timothy's 15-year-old son are all facing criminal charges in the death of 7-year-old Ethan Hauschultz. Authorities say Timothy and Tina were Ethan's court-appointed guardians. Ethan died back in April 2018. Authorities say Timothy forced Ethan to carry a heavy log as part of a punishment. Timothy's 15-year-old son is accused of beating Ethan. On Monday, a judge ordered $150,000 bond for Timothy's 15-year-old son, $100,000 bond for Timothy, and $75,000 bond for Tina."

I'm guessing Wisconsin courts are not closed for President's Day on Monday, 2/18 since Damian & Timothy have court hearings that day....

His attorney, Donna Kuchler, is unhappy with his felony murder charge. She says, Timothy wasn’t there when Ethan died and Timothy didn’t assist in the death of Ethan.

This didn’t involve money. It was just about family members Timothy can talk to.

Lt. Dave Remiker, with Manitowoc Co. Sheriff’s Office is now on the stand. He’s talking about how he went to the hospital where Ethan died.

Remiker says Timothy told him the children in the house would have certain rules and when they violated those rules, they had to carry wood for a specific amount of time.

Father and son appear in court, accused of Manitowoc Co. boy's death

    February 18th 2019

"MANITOWOC (WLUK) -- Two family members accused in the death of a 7-year-old Manitowoc County boy are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

A criminal complaint says 48-year-old Timothy Hauschultz told his son 15-year-old Damian Hauschultz to make sure Ethan Hauschultz completed his punishment.

In court Monday Timothy Hauschultz's attorney, Donna Kuchler, argued against the felony murder charge. She told the judge Timothy Hauschultz wasn't there and didn't assist in Ethan Hauschultz death.

Judge Jerilyn Dietz disagreed with Kuchler and said, "Mr. Hauschultz did know that Damian would cause bodily harm" which resulted in Ethan Hauschultz's death.

Lt. Dave Remiker took the stand. He talked about going to the hospital where Ethan Hauschultz died and talking to Timothy Hauschultz about what happened....

Damian Hauschultz is charged with first-degree reckless homicide and six other charges. Although age 15, in Wisconsin, juveniles charged with certain homicide counts are handled in adult court.

In court on Monday, Damian Hauschultz's had an initial appearance. While in court, his preliminary hearing was scheduled Tuesday, March 19 at noon.

Timothy Hauschultz is charged with felony murder and eight other charges.

Thirty-six-year-old Tina McKeever-Hauschultz, Damian Hauschultz's mother, is charged with failing to prevent bodily harm and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child.

She's scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon...."

IMO point 6 on page 3 is going to sink Timothy's sorry-ass ship. There's more than enough to justify the charges against him. DH, Timothy's henchman, is also going down. I can't wait for T Mc-H's hearing. What a crap family, those poor children. MOO.

    Thanks, YESorNO!

It was hard reading the interview details in the Criminal Complaint. Sadly, young children growing up in that sort of environment often come to accept that type of behaviour as normal and may repeat it when they have children of their own.

It seems Ethan and his twin have been repeatedly physically abused or neglected since 2013, at which time they would have only been 2 years old. It’s just horrendous that they’ve suffered at the hands of multiple family members and yet Child Protection keeps sending them back to the very families carrying out the abuse or neglect. I hope their reasons for doing so will be explained at the trials.

The abuse and/or neglect wasn’t confined to the twins. Their sisters and cousins were also on the receiving end. The link in para. 1 provides more details. Apologies if this has already been posted.

Years of Alleged Abuse and Neglect from Family of 7 Year-Old Boy Who Died in Manitowoc Co.
    *snipped for space
The physical abuse and neglect claims involve the father, the mother, the mother's boyfriend, and an "unknown maltreater," and the victims of the alleged abuse and neglect are the seven year-old boy and his siblings. The report also details alleged physical abuse by the seven year-old's great uncle to the boy's cousins.

The substantiated claims go back to October 26, 2013, when the boyfriend of Andrea Everett allegedly physically abused Ethan and his twin brother. Child Protective Services said the situation was unsafe, but left the children in the home after a consent decree.

Another substantiated claim was reported on June 11, 2014, when Everett allegedly neglected Ethan, Ethan's twin brother, and Ethan's two older sisters. Child Protective Services found the situation to be unsafe and brought the four children into temporary physical custody.

On February 1, 2016, a report of the father allegedly neglecting the four children was substantiated.

On March 3rd, 2016, a CPS report showed alleged neglect by Everett to Ethan, his twin brother, and one of his sisters. The substantiated claim led to the children being taken into temporary physical custody and brought to their relatives.

Toward the end of the report, the Manitowoc County Human Services Department wrote that in collaboration with medical experts and law enforcement, it found enough evidence of neglect by the relative guardians to Ethan, his siblings, and his cousins. The evidence also showed Ethan was abused by an "unknown maltreater."

The report says Ethan's two biological siblings and two cousins were in an unsafe situation and brought into temporary physical custody and put into care outside of their home. The agency filed children in need of protection and services petitions. The case is still open.

The Manitowoc Coiunty Sheriff's Office is still investigating how Ethan died. No suspects have been arrested and no charges have been filed.
