Patterson reportedly said: "Say that one more time motherf----- and I will kick your *advertiser censored*."

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reported that records provided by the New Mexico Corrections Department said Patterson was approached by two inmates in the prison gym on Aug. 28.

They reportedly told Patterson to leave the pod because he couldn't "stay in line" because of the case. One of the inmates "questioned his case involving a 14 year old girl."

Video surveillance appeared to show an inmate aggressively approach Patterson, who punched the man. Blows were exchanged and the two wrestled before a staffer fired a bean bag round that hit a railing.

No one was seriously injured.

ETA: Good riddance....

Too bad he got off easy. Maybe the next time he won't be so lucky. He's a marked man. Nowhere to hide.

MOO

Hello Karma! Hope that JP has to deal with 1/100th of the terror he instilled in the Closs family that night for the rest of his miserable life.

Every time I see his loser face I can't believe that little weasel was able to pull off such a heinous crime. Still shocking.
Considering his past lack of ambition and drive to succeed, yes, it is strange he pulled off the crimes. I can only surmise he got lucky that LE didn't arrive minutes sooner and prevent JC's time in captivity. Even JP's method of restraining JC is bizarre and shows a lack of effort fortunately. I don't think anything could of saved Denise and James. James was smart not to open the door and I praise Denise for using the cabinet drawer to block the bathroom door. You came close to saving JC from additional trauma. Very good Denise.

The perp always has the advantage because they know what they are going to do. The majority of law abiding citizens aren't prepared or anticipate conflict this extreme. Probably even more so in the area these crimes occurred.

I was a bit surprised to see he's not escorted outside his cell.

Great. Now this rodent will get his own private cell, with his own tv, 23 hours a day to lay around and remember the highlight of his life.

Does anyone think that American prisoners are coddled, like a bunch of valued individuals?

I'm not sure I want to read the documents. It feels like an invasion of Jayme's privacy. I hope they redacted a lot of things to protect her.

MOO.

I've been going through the Barron County Adobe Acrobat doc. Many, many things have been redacted. Names of minors who went to school with Jayme, folks who worked with James and Denise - their names were blacked out. Entire paragraphs were blocked out.

With regard to Douglas County, which is where JP lived, I could not download an Adobe Acrobat doc. Which is probably a good thing.

IIRC, what happened to Jayme in Douglas County will forever remain sealed.

If I run into something truly invasive of Jayme's privacy, I will let all of you know. But, I really don't think I will find anything.

JMVHO.

I feel the same way I don’t understand why these documents had to be released even if redacted. The Daily Mail website has just posted an article about the documents. Jayme should be able to move forward with her life and not have her horrific tragic ordeal be in the media repeatedly. I actually wish there was a way victims of terrible crimes could have articles about them removed from the internet if requested so they have privacy.

I hope Jayme is doing as well as she can and has a nice Christmas with her loved ones. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be every day and during the holiday season.
