MM cause of death multiple gunshot wounds. JC is prime suspect. JC and MM were acquaintances. They are asking anyone who had contact with the suspect from Oct 9 to Oct 17 to come forward.

Notes from the Milwaukee police press conference:
  • LE searched two locations outside of Milwaukee: Iron Ridge (Dodge County) and Washington County
  • LE recovered evidence from MM's vehicle (including blood), has been submitted to crime lab; would not comment if car seat was in vehicle
  • There were other people in the house where MM was killed
  • There are additional "people we need to speak with" based on video of the vehicle

ETA: Also noting from this article that searches were conducted by friends, family, and community advocates at McGovern Park and Havenwoods State Forest yesterday (Mon 10/18)

BBM. If they're searching out in Dodge and Washington counties, this sounds more like a recovery effort rather than bringing him back alive. Really really not sounding good here at all.

Milwaukee police said Tuesday that any further searches for a missing 3-year-old boy will depend on whether they receive credible information from the public on his disappearance.

Authorities have conducted several searches in Milwaukee, Washington and Dodge counties for Major P. Harris.

Milwaukee police held a press conference Tuesday to ask for help in the case. They said Major was last seen in Milwaukee on Oct. 9

Major Harris, age 3, is the son of a homicide victim who was located deceased at 2600 block of N. 37th St. in Milwaukee. Major Harris may be with Jaheem K Clark who is a person of interest in the homicide. Vehicle of interest is a black 2008 Chevrolet Equinox bearing Wisconsin auto plate # ABE2804.

Two arrests made in the murder of MM. Major still missing:

Arrests made in Mallery Muenzenberger homicide, mother of Major Harris
This is behind a paywall, could you quote?

Sorry!

Here's some:

"Milwaukee police have two people in custody related to the homicide of Mallery Muenzenberger, according to two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the situation.

The Police Department confirmed to the Journal Sentinel late Wednesday that multiple people had been arrested as part of the investigation and two were still in custody as of Wednesday evening.

The search for her son, Major Harris, remains active and ongoing, police said on Wednesday, the same day that the child's father issued a desperate plea for help."

...

"It’s unclear what kind of relationship Muenzenberger and Clark had. Police said Tuesday the two were acquaintances, but had little other information despite cooperation from Muenzenberger’s family and associates of Clark."
