Max Edward Metcalf, age 32, vanished from Princeton, Wisconsin on October 7, 1958.

Max was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

The Dodge 330 series are sedans, not trucks. Here is a nice article about him Max Metcalf

You are correct. The Dodge 330 was a car made between 1962 and 1964. Obviously an error in his case summary. His Pick up truck was probably made some time between 1947 and 1958.

Here is another website that lists him:

Max Edward Metcalf

There is a piece on his entry on an Ancestry public tree which I reproduce below;

The disappearance of Max is quite complicated. It was no secret that there were marital problems, however the facts indicate there were other circumstances that were more relevant. After supper on Tuesday evening, 7 Oct 1958 Max told his wife he was going to the local tavern a half mile away for a beer at about 8 p.m. The next day his truck was found parked on the street in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The local sheriff was in the middle of an election campaign and did not take a great interest in the case; he was defeated and the new sheriff had even less interest in the case, this could all be related to an underlying assumption that the authorities may have thought it was a simple domestic dispute. The family always thought there was other business going on. No finger prints were ever taken from the truck. Everyone knew that the parking brake on the truck didn't work and so it was never used. When the truck was found on a street in Oshkosh the parking brake had been set.

At least by January 1959 the Green Lake County, Wisconsin Sheriff, Frank Lieske thought there was foul play involved but there was apparently no follow through. Max employed a hired man on his farm. A few days before Max's disappearance he and Max had a very vocal argument, it is not clear what the topic was. Also just before Max's disappearance he had taken in a whole barn load of hay for the winter. The day after Max disappeared it was discovered that nearly all of the hay had been stolen, an entire barn's worth, only the front row was still there to make the barn look like it was full. Again, there was no follow up to this theft. There was another rumor that Max disappeared because he had betting debts that had not been satisfied. Another was that he ran off with another woman, however, no one reported any missing women. One rumor even had him kidnaped and killed in Cuba. The family believes he was murdered the night he disappeared and the hired man had something to do with it along with the stolen hay. Max was arguably his mother's favorite child and everyone felt that at some point, if he was alive, he would have contacted her. He never contacted her.

On October 7th, 1958, Max Metcalf was last seen by his wife and five children as he left their home for a few beers at the local tavern about half a mile from his farm. He never returned home.

His Dodge 330 was found that same night between 11pm and 12am in Oshkosh about 35 miles away, parked behind a storage facility on South Main Street. At the time, police did not find the truck suspicious and he was not known to be missing. Later in the week, the police did get reports of his disappearance. It was reported that the parking break was on; His wife, Katie thought that this was strange because Max never used it because it was broken.

There had been a few reports of seeing him days later but nothing that could be verified.

Max was 33 years old, white male with brown hair, blue eyes about 5'5" - 6'3" and 190-220lbs, He was last seen wearing a blue Air Force shirt, Wrangler blue jeans and maroon canvas shoes. He was an Air Force Veteran.

I was trying to find a picture of a 1950s blue Air Force shirt and all I'm finding on eBay are uniforms from the 50s. Did the Air Force have t-shirts back then? Or would he have been wearing his Air Force khaki with jeans?
