    An Ashland woman is asking for the public's help in finding her husband last seen a week ago.

    The Ashland Daily Press reports that Raymond Ocasio, 47, was last seen in Ashland last Monday.

    Raymond is said to be driving a Dark Gray Honda Civic with the license plate, ABU 7748.

    The Ashland Daily Press reports the case is being investigated as a missing persons matter, and that leads are being followed up on.

    Anyone with information is asked to call the Ashland Police Department at 715-682-7062.

    Five years ago, Michelle Moesha Ocasio and her husband Raymond “Boom-Boom” Ocasio came to Ashland from Milwaukee looking for a new start.

    Raymond had been involved in crack cocaine abuse and had been involved in a Milwaukee area gang, the Spanish Cobras....

    Human skull found in Bayfield County


    A person picking pine boughs in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest on Friday found a human skull, according to the Bayfield County Sheriff's Office.

    The skull, found on the eastern side of the Grandview Township in Bayfield County near its border with Ashland County, is believed to have been there for “many months” based on the skeletal condition and the condition of clothing found, the Sheriff’s Office said.

    As of Monday, Nov. 19, the Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office has not released any further information on the identity of the remains. -from Bayfield Co. Sheriff’s Office
    Human remains found in Bayfield Co.
