PEMBROKE PINES – The stay-at-home mom of two and wife of a Miami Beach cop has been arrested and charged with bank robbery.

Deborah Cubides, 32, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday after a bank-robbery witness gave police a license tag number that lead to the Cubides' immaculate home on Southwest 179th Avenue.

A search warrant was obtained for the house and investigators said they found clothing that matched witness descriptions of the robber. Also police said they found a note that was given to the teller demanding money and cash that was stolen. She was booked into the county jail in lieu of $11,000 bond on robbery and threatening to throw, place or discharge a destructive device.

Cubides, a stay-at-home mom of two children under age 10, is married to Miami Beach Police Officer Nelson Cubides. A telephone call to Nelson Cubides was not immediately answered.
