I saw this last night on one of the news shows.I can't even imagine how scary that would be for both the children and their parents.

This has happened too often IMHO. It happened in El Paso in 2009 or early 2010. But not multiple bounce houses only one. The children inside were seriously injured.

DK it might be my computer but when I click on your link I see the earthworms story.

I can't see the video so I don't know the reason for the lifting of the bounce houses but each other story I've seen is where the winds are high that day and the bounce houses are not properly anchored.

Check the bottom of the screen on the link, Kat. There are 9 or 12 recent videos down there and the flyaway bouncy houses is one of them.

    Thanks Nova!

I went to look for the article for El Paso and found these:

Third time that year that area had a bouncy house lifted by wind.

El Paso April 2010. A man I spoke to myself about a week after this happened told me that it was his brother's yard in which the bouncey house came to rest and that the children were hurt so badly his brother cried and cried afterwards for days.

High wind or wind gusts---improper anchoring= hurt kids. JMHO.
