Witness Laura Buchanan Backs Out

This is the same defense team that dragged a kid (teenager, I don't know how old he is, but still if he's a teen he's a kid and not grown up yet) into this case, Kronk's son, and he's going to be deposed by the defense and prosecutors. Nice defense there where even kids aren't safe from being run over by a bus to save Casey. There is no low they won't go to. I'm not surprised their one supposed witness to say that Caylee's body wasn't there is suddenly sick.

And Mason is such a liar and a con artist. I don't believe him for a second about that witness statement.

Nah, this guy has flat out lied before because, as an old "pro," he thinks he can lie to the media and it's okey doke-In some cases the defense can, but not when it comes to fabricating evidence.

I truly think he was confusing the fact that he has seen it before, with the documents they were looking through, not necessarily in the same place. Or, he just assumed it would be there, since he had already seen it from the SA. On purpose or by accident? no clue.

Am I missing something? If the document was fabricated by someone working with/for the defense, how would it have been in a doc dump from the SA?

I agree with you, I think he gets confused sometimes - like when he says he is going to walk out of a Court of Law with the momster on his arm - very confused...

But most of the time he just opens his mouth and out 'n out expects to be believed (does that sound familiar?) - for instance telling HHJS in a hearing regarding finances, 'we don't have the paper work with us to prove the expert witness will work for a crate of oranges - but hey I'm an attorney; you can trust me wink, wink, nudge, nudge!!' (not a direct quote, but you get the idea!?)

Just a compare/contrast of two different bloggers and how the defense chooses to handle them-Laura's blog is, well, look at the site (linked in the parking lot thread). Marinade's delivered the news of the day and he was not always bias toward the state, so not sure why they chose to go after him so hard, though I will admit LB did not talk to Judge S., so there ya go. They ran over MD and used LB as their personal tool.....Perhaps if they had wooed MD, he would have done the same, but why would they choose to defend the honor of LB? She is unsettled, IMO.

We can expect to see Laura's continuation of her depo rescheduled within ten days. The judge will make short order of this if the state has to file a motion to compel. I trust her lawyer has explained to her there is no value in putting off the inevitable. Judge Perry is not putting up with any nonsense. He has got this! Remain calm.

So to sum: LB is a crackpot Anthony stalker and case inserter who is LE and a paralegal (either both or it depends on who she talks to), MN's email buddy, and got caught forging documents to say Caylee's body wasn't there. And now we know why she did that. Lord, no wonder there's so much on her - she's a gift that keeps on giving!

I bet everytime MN got one of her emails, he was like, "Oh no, not HER again!" He was so nice to her though. He has way more restraint than me, God bless him!
