Warriors of The Shield "

In the quiet of the night and by the light of day,


these precious few take up the fight and march into harm's way.


It is these few ~ these warriors all ~ who side by side stand proud,


sacrificing for the law the highest price avowed.


They and others of their kind, by sworn allegiance pledged,


soldiers each for justice blind and by its honor fledged ~


guarding well the no man's land all others fear to tread ...


protecting us from evil's hand and to their calling wed.


A call that bids them walk the line that marks the rocky ledge


where fainting hearts, both yours and mine, are forced unto the edge.


Policeman ~ Guardian ~ Sentry ~ Friend ... the vigilant watch they keep


is that on which our lives depend, and grants us peaceful sleep.


Were it not for such as they, who offer up their lives,


who would keep us safe and free ~ who'd make this sacrifice?


'Tis they whose eyes behold all things most cannot bear to see ~


'tis in their ears the echos ring of mankind's agony.


Their hands are those when none else are that cradle at the last


souls that evil's touch has marred and wrenched from worldly grasp.


Their dedication holds at bay the evil that men do ~


their perserverance finds a way to cope and see them through.


Theirs are the tears in private shed for suffering unseen ...


their hearts cut deep and wholly bled by victims' tortured screams.


Leave them not alone to fight the war that rages on ~


crime, abuse, chaos, blight ~ the battle must be won.


Let not one drop of warriors' blood lie spilled for us in vain ~


let not these Warriors of the Shield be forced to know the pain ...


of our indifference or neglect ~ let us instead revere


and e'r regard with deep respect their watch o'er all held dear.


May each and every warrior know the gratitude we feel ...


God be with each and His love show with might as that of steel.

You guys are fabulous - I applaud your efforts and have no doubt
this mother of the year is going to be spending the remainder of her
worthless life in prison.

Alot can happen between now and November .

You have my support .

I for one am sick of defendants and defense attorneys accusing LE of incompetence, bias, and who knows what other misdeeds.
My encounters with you have been caring professional dedicated
to finding the evidence to convict these criminals.

You guys deserve a raise !

I must also send my regards (FRegards, if any LE are FReepers!) to Orlando's PD. There are two kinds of PD's...the ones that go about their job quietly and efficiently and the kind that like to spend more time in front of the camera than doing their job (Moose, anyone?). Thankfully, Orlando's PD just does their job.

When I read some of the 400 pages, I wondered how those cops could keep themselves from just pulling out their hair, and throwing Casey in the slammer. The aggravation they had to put up with must have been astounding. But, they were always polite and on task. Remarkable!

And, they're not hogging the camera, letting JB take care of the whole "tainting the jury pool" drama. I appreciate that.

And, lastly, I REALLY LIKE the white polos they wore for Casey's latest bust.:clap:

I applaud the detectives and LE in Orlando. When they get up in the mornings, they do not know whether they will be coming home that night. The same for the ones on the night shift. Sometimes people do not like them until they are the ones who need LE.

As in every case, these guys know a whole lot more about this case than we do. The detectives have so much info that we are not privy to, and are doing a fantastic job.

I wish these guys could know just how much I personally appreciate them!

Please keep searching every avenue until this little girl is brought home safe and sound. Was she taken to Atlanta? To PR? Please don't stop surveilling and investigating everyone and leave no stone unturned. Thank you for all you do!

To Protect and serve

I sincerely thank the Florida Law Enforcement agencies for all that they have done in this case. The FBI also. This must be the worst kind of case to be assigned to. I cannot even imagine. God Bless you all, and keep you safe. Each and every one.
