    This is true.
Once a potential suicide decides to go through with it, they often become calm and relaxed.

The District 12 of FL chief medical examiner (covers Sarasota County, Manatee County and DeSoto County) tells me they don’t really know at this point how long it will take to process and identify the remains found at the reserve. He says “at least several days.” @mysuncoast

Not good conditions to retreated evidence or remains. BL liked being under or near the connective bridge. He was found near there.

BL does not sound like someone who would have been able to handle a breakup in a mature manner. Assuming he did commit suicide, personally I do not believe he did, the location does not matter if it were not for his trying to stay off the radar.

It depends upon the condition of the remains and the state of current forensic research on the environmental conditions combined, a combination of everything.
It's not the same as a body lying exposed in a dry field..

It is also possible that the information they provided on where he would likely be was not deemed completely credible after initial cursory searches of the flooded area provided no results. JMO.

Mahsa just said that according to SB, Brian Laundrie was reported missing on Sept. 14! Supposedly, he called the FBI to let them know he was missing.

I feel like this changes things.

Does anyone remember a post about LE being called to the address here at the park after the car was gone? Wasn't there some kind of a disturbance call in the evening? If so what was the date and time of said call?

Everything is flying and I lost track... But in the previous thread someone asked why the bag wouldn't have floated away underwater. One reason I thought of is that since it was a backpack, it was attached to the remains. MOO

I completely agree! After hearing Ashleigh Banfield talk about what Pasco County told her about Diesel, I find it hard to believe they wouldn’t have found the remains. JMO. So, I agree. If that’s him, I don’t think he was dead the whole time. JMO.

Now that this case is coming to an end, I have one remaining question:
Did anyone anyone see where I dropped my life off at the beginning of all this? :)

On WFLA Now, they are saying a dry bag and a backpack was found? (This is what happens when I go to watch "You" and step away from here!

I doubt this as one of the officers showed a photo of the backpack to the Laundries on his phone yesterday morning. I would assume if they found the bag attached to the remains, they would not have taken a photo for the Laundries to confirm whether or not it was his to protect them from seeing their son in skeletal form.

She has a show on NewsNation. It airs live at 9CST (I think) right after NewsNation Prime. They post some full episodes on YouTube & also post a lot of clips there as well. That’s on the NewsNation YouTube channel. :)

In a temperate climate, it usually requires three weeks to several years for a body to completely decompose into a skeleton, depending on factors such as temperature, humidity, presence of insects, and submergence in a substrate such as water.[3] In tropical climates, skeletonization can occur in weeks, while in tundra areas, skeletonization may take years or may never occur, if subzero temperatures persist.

Yes, that is correct. That was a big question I had yesterday. But yes… CL found the dry bag off the trail. The backpack was found by LE near the remains.
