I can't understand how a woman can believe to be successful with such a thing as to kidnap a baby and perhaps also kill the mother of the infant, and to make the man she claims to be the father to belive it's his child. The "father" just have to decide to take a paternity test before acknowledging the child, to have the truth to be revealed.

Woman pleads not guilty in alleged plot to steal newborn baby

According to court papers, Parker allegedly asked a male friend she had previously dated if he could get her a sample of the date-rape drug known as GHB, so they could use it to obtain a baby girl and raise it as their own.

Parker also allegedly told the male friend that she knew where they could get a baby and specifically referred to kidnapping, according to court documents.

Investigators determined they’d scavenged buckets of ammunition, including an 81mm mortar round, from JBLM, and had been melting down the shells to sell as scrap, court records show.

The blast blew a 2-foot-wide hole in the floor just above a room where Parker’s children, then ages 4 and 10, were asleep. The kids were not hurt.

My name is Juliette and I am never really sure how to start these intro/about me sections, so I guess I’ll start at the beginning. I was born in 1981 in Honolulu, HI and I am the first child to my stay at mom and my pediatric gastroenterologist dad. I have a younger brother who is about 2 years younger than me. My dad was in the US ARMY my whole life and only retired about 3 years ago at the rank of full bird Colonel, so I am 100% Army brat. I have moved around a whole lot in my life, but the majority of my time has been in Washington State or Texas. I am not by any means one of those ‘perfect” moms who handle my kids, the housework, my business and still finds time to do PTA, crafts, personal hobbies and anything else that comes up. I am not on the PTA, although I wish I was and my house almost always has laundry that needs to be folded or cleaning somewhere to be done and I am ok with that because I’d rather be spending my extra time coloring with my kids or going swimming with them and my husband. I know this sounds cheesy but I live for my kids and I know my husband does too. 'She violated my safety,' victim in baby kidnapping plot says as suspect appears in court

A woman accused of posing as a baby photographer in a twisted plot to kidnap a mother's newborn daughter was arraigned Tuesday afternoon in a Tacoma, Washington, courtroom and ordered held on $150,000 bail by a judge who deemed her a threat to children.

Benjamin asked Judge Adams to allow Parker to remain free on the original $50,000 bail and offered to have Parker wear an electronic monitoring device.

Benjamin argued that he had previously represented Parker in 2014 in a case in which she was charged with felony reckless burning in the second degree, and that Parker attended all her hearings. He said the case was eventually resolved when Parker was convicted of a misdemeanor.

Benjamin also told Adams that Parker suffers from bone cancer and is on medication. Wist, the prosecutor, immediately asked that Parker produce medical records proving her illness.

The victim in the case, Elysia Miller, watched the brief hearing from the front row of the courtroom, where she sat with detectives who investigated the crime.

Following the hearing, Miller said she is terrified that Parker is going to get out of jail.

Was she planning to discontinue treatment since she'd be "on the run?" (How could you continue treatments while you're a fugitive?)

Are mayoral candidates really well vetted, though? To the best of my knowledge, anyone can apply to be mayor. You can expect a certain level - maybe they are unlikely to be, say, homeless - but I once interviewed a former mayoral candidate for a potential roommate. Said mayoral candidate worked at the public library, and I'm sure was probably a fine upstanding citizen; but only got a pittance of a vote, and certainly wasn't affiliated with a party, and it was a real eye-opener to me of what types of candidates could potentially lurk under the tame guise of "Independent" - you know, those folks on the ballot that you generally don't know of unless you're, like, their next-door neighbor or something.

oh, i totally agree. anyone and their uncle can run for mayor. i was just so surprised at how many (mostly women in the group) showed up to defend this woman bc she "appeared" to be legit on fb. the post was an "awareness" post (before all this info came out) by the woman who ate the cupcake. people were actually labelling the woman who ate the cupcake as "some random woman accusing parker on fb" as opposed to heeding the warning from the victim. fb is an interesting place, i tell ya.

Juliette Parker and Cody Hyman each entered guilty pleas to one count of second-degree reckless burning and were given suspended sentences in Pierce County Superior Court.

Parker, 33, and Hyman, 28, originally had been charged with possession of an explosive device, third-degree assault and reckless endangerment

Cody H hands were mangled during 2014 explosion that he received a suspended sentence for. I imagine he's long gone from Parker.

Pierce County woman wanted ‘a baby girl more than anything,’ charges in kidnapping plot say


Her ex-husband, Daniel Gaines, described her a different way.

“Juliette is, she’s a very clever cunning individual,” he told KIRO-TV. “She’s fairly intelligent and she’s insanely manipulative.”

The couple divorced in 2004.

Gaines said he is upset their teenage daughter was dragged into the plot to kidnap a baby, but believes she must be held accountable if she’s guilty.

The couple also has a 10-year-old son who lives with his father.

We can’t link to it but Daniel Gaines has started a gofundme to raise money to help his daughter. It lists what city he is from. It looks like he was a teen when he was married and his daughter was born and still a teen when they divorced in 2004. If the info out there is accurate, Juliette is 6 or 7 years older than him.
