COPS have launched a desperate search for a missing 36-year-old woman last seen near a quarry.

Amy was last seen at around 1pm yesterday near Quarry View Garden Care in Chinnor, South Oxfordshire.

Amy is described as a white woman, around 5ft 5ins tall and with a slim build.

The 36-year-old was last known to have blonde hair, though she frequently dyes it, according to police.

A man was found dead there on the 25 Aug.
Sounds like it's an infamous place where people drown a lot (they even dyed the water black apparently to stop people from swimming).

Article says she frequents the quarry. Does that mean for illegal swims? Walks? Is there a formal walking area? Other activity people engage in nearby? I hope she's okay, maybe just taking some time alone and will return home very soon.

I’m local to this, and my gut instinct is that she’s taken her own life. I get the impression she was plagued by poor MH judging by the kind of things her mum has been posting on Facebook.
I really hope I’m wrong and she is back home with her children soon.

Ami was reported missing on Saturday (30/8) after last being seen in Quarry View Garden Care in Chinnor.

We understand that people may be searching areas around the Quarry but we now believe Ami to be in London.
