Medical staff described the 7-year-old who was brought to a nearby hospital in critical condition as “pale, limp and extremely underweight at just 28 lbs.,” per the outlet, which cited police. Doctors told investigators that after years of malnutrition, the boy was a “near fatality.”

“There is no denying that this shook us to our core,” Russellville Police Chief David Ewing told KARK. “I mean, he was basically just a skeleton with skin on it.”

On Katelyn's FB there is a photo of their son, dated/posted January 15, 2023, when he was aged 5 (his DOB is reported to be 12/21/17). Even in that photo he is painfully thin IMO. After that all photos feature their daughter (born 08/11/21 and he disappeared from their public online persona.

From posts on Chris' FB it appears there was another son born to this couple on 04/27/20. Per the article from the NW AR Democrat Gazette, those two children also showed signed of neglect, and the 5 year old boy was also sometimes bound.

It should be noted that LE made a point to share that there was ample food and a decent sum of cash in the home - meaning this wasn't poverty, this was purposeful starvation.

The 7 year old is not expected to make it, although he is still fighting for his life.
