They keep changing that trial date over and over. Look back thread
and you'll see how many times it's been changed. It'll be 9 yrs. in July.
I feel like I have done this 20+ times in the years we've been waiting
for Brittney to go on trial, and hopefully get sentenced to life in prison
like the boyfriend. New trial date is July 23, 2025.​

Cabrera (the bf) was found guilty by a Vista Superior Court jury of 35 counts and was sentenced in 2021 to eight life-without-parole terms, plus more than 300 years to life in state prison.

(Brittney) Lyon, 31, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to four counts of lewd acts on a child and admitted to other allegations, according to Deputy District Attorney Jodi Breton. Lyon is scheduled for sentencing in August. (8/14)​

North County babysitter pleads guilty to molestations of young girls

A North County babysitter who took part in the molestations of four girls she was tasked with caring for pleaded guilty this week to felony sex crime counts.

The victims' mothers testified that they hired Lyon to babysit their daughters after finding her on childcare websites. One of those mothers testified that her daughter is on the autism spectrum and was nonverbal at the time of the molestations, when she was 6 and 7 years old.

Lyon would babysit the girl at the victim's house during the week. On occasional weekends, however, Lyon would take the girl on her own for excursions she was not paid for and were unrelated to babysitting. Lyon told the mother that these outings would help her with a research paper she was writing as part of her degree, which she claimed was related to child development.​

The parents of the minors who were victims have had to wait 8+ years for this Justice. Finally, sentence her. Brittney Lyon also videoed women in dressing rooms for her boyfriend. If you go back thread, you'll find she not only advertised to provide childcare, but also actually worked for the school district for awhile. Had no qualms about destroying these young girls childhood, marring it with what would be years of vague disturbing memories, to say the least. IMO, Lyon deserves the strictest of sentences. ​

Finally, after nine years, Brittney Lyon has been sentenced to 100 years to life in prison, San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan announced Thursday.

The Judge called her a monster, really voiced his disgust with her. Be sure to watch the video. ​

According to prosecutors, Lyon and her boyfriend, Samuel Cabrera, targeted at least for young girls—two of whom were just 3 years old and two others that were 7. Two of the victims had autism, and one of them was non-verbal.

Cabrera (her bf) was convicted by a jury in 2019 and is currently serving eight life terms without the possibility of parole.​

Thought I'd check to see which prison Brittney Child Molester Lyon got sent to after sentencing. She hasn't been moved to a State Prison yet, as far as I can tell. She's avoided being in prison by the 9 yr. delay, so I hope they place her in a prison asap.

San Diego County Las Colinas Detention Facility is a county jail which means that inmates may not stay there for very long. If they have committed a smaller crime, they will be jailed in a county jail up to 3 years. If an offender has committed a more serious crime, they will be transferred to a state prison.​
