Nova Scotia police asking for information in disappearance of Jessie Morrissey - Halifax | Globalnews.ca

Police said Morrissey was last seen near snowmobile trail 104 in Leamington, located just south of Amherst, on Feb. 13, around 9:30 p.m.

He was reported missing the next day, and has not been seen or heard from since.

The missing man's mother, Jodi Morrissey, has long said she believes the disappearance is suspicious.

"With all the rumours that have been going around and stuff, we've pretty much begged the cops to peg it as foul play or suspicious right from the beginning," she said in an interview Wednesday.

"Anybody who knows Jessie knows that he wouldn't just up and take off for this amount of time."
