Man found dead in Oakville and Halton police are investigating
''Halton Regional Police are investigating the discovery of a body in Oakville this afternoon (Jan. 5).

Police and Oakville firefighters as well as Halton Region Paramedics are on scene in the area of Sixth Line and Ridge Drive, near the Oakville Golf Club, after the body was discovered in a culvert. Firefighters responded just before 3:45 p.m.

Halton police were in the area today searching for a missing man but police aren't yet saying whether the body is the individual in question.

Police are also saying little about how the man died and have taped off the area.

"Investigators are working on establishing the identity of the victim and investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident," police said in a tweet.''

The Halton Regional Police Service has found Michael Stone.

The release from the police says that no more information will be provided. Images of Stone have been removed from myFM social media channels, as well as the article itself.

A body was found yesterday a few blocks away from where Stone was last seen on January 1st. It is unconfirmed if the two cases are related.
