About this Case:​

On the morning of January 7, 1983 members of the Denver Police Department were called to the area of East 35th Avenue and Gilpin Street on a report of a possible dead body. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, subsequently identified as Yolanda Barrera, in a nearby church parking lot. based on the extent of the victim's injuries, this case was ruled as a homicide.
