Not seen this posted and the UK Missing People charity have recently shared his picture.
David Charles Parker went missing from Calais while there on. 'booze cruise'. Those not familiar with the term, it iwas a very popular thing in the UK, 20 years ago, to pop on a ferry to France and purchase alcohol, cigarettes etc and avoid paying huge import taxes.
David was originally from Penrhiwceiber, Mountain Ash. It appears from reports that David had travelled to Folkstone with a group, but became separated from them and travelled to France without them. He was then taken into hospital (I assume in France) after falling in a shopping centre.
The last positive sighting of him was by a British police officer, who he approached at Calais to say he had lost his passport. The passport was found later at the hospital.
