At first I was a tad confused about the details of his disappearance. This one seems clearer to me.

So if he was going to Canada in March, was he a snowbird and returning after wintering in FL?

I looked him up on sunbiz.org to see if I could find a business with his name in it. Unfortunately, it's like a needle in a haystack. It would be good to know what type of business he had. That could provide many clues as to what he was doing at Marina Jack's (boat dock) and if he actually owned a boat, was his work related to fishing, did he live aboard a boat, go out fishing for the night, etc.?
