PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is currently working to find a 4-year-old child who wandered from his Putnam County home on Thursday afternoon.
The sheriff’s office said Mason Newstead, who is non-verbal, was last seen leaving his home on Front Street in Welaka around 12:30 p.m.
He is wearing gray footie pajamas.

After a nearly five-hour search, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said the missing non-verbal 4-year-old boy, who wandered from his Putnam County home, was found dead on Thursday.
