Missing Person​


The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Melissa Saito (31) of Kihei.

Ms. Saito was reported missing by a concerned family member on Monday, June 2, 2025, after she failed to return home from a friend’s residence. Ms. Saito was last seen on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m. in Kahului in the area of School Street.

Ms. Saito has no vehicle, and her cell phone is turned off. She may be vulnerable/at-risk, and her family is concerned for her safety and well-being.

Ms. Saito is described as being Japanese, 5 feet, weighing about 150 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black colored shirt and black colored pants.

Don't have a date of birth to confirm this is her but there is an active guardianship (for Melissa) case on record in the courts in Hawaii. eCourt* Kokua

I get a feed from a Maui newspaper (my daughter was adopted by a Native Hawaiian family). No updates since she was first reported missing.
