
Police Searching for Suspects After 2 Women, 8-Year-Old Boy Were Killed in 4th of July Shooting in Chicago
A shooting in Chicago on the Fourth of July left two women and an 8-year-old boy dead, authorities said.
Two women, identified by relatives as Capri Edwards and Nakeeshia Strong, were killed in the shooting, according to ABC 7 Chicago. Strong was Edwards’ aunt, relatives reportedly said.
According to NBC Chicago, Strong’s son, 8-year-old Bryson Orr, was also struck and taken to the hospital in critical condition. However, he died later that day, police said, per the outlet. Two other children, ages 5 and 8, were wounded in the shooting.
