The local news here in Chicago hasn't released ANYTHING on this outside of the scant details posted here. In a city that is 228 square miles with almost 3 million residents this is not helpful if they want people to be focused on looking for these two little girls.

I've been checking the local news, and there's been no info at all other then their names ages, and clothing description. No Amber Alerts either (I get those on my phone if it's in Chicago).

Haven't seen anything that says when they were last seen. Just that they were reported missing on May 30th.

I hope these dear girls are safe. It sounds to me like they are thought to be with a relative. But where did the relative pick them up and why is information about the circumstances being withheld? Then again, I'm sure LE has reasons.

I am wondering if they weren't returned after a scheduled visitation. Might account for the them last seen on the 30th and then reported missing the next afternoon per the link I posted above.

The comments on this CBS Chicago post suggest to me that this is a custody issue. Hope they're in a safe place wherever they are.

I live in Chicago and I've found that often, when the case involves a runaway (which would most likely NOT be a factor here) OR a custody issue where they do not fear harm for the child, often there's nothing in the news when the case is resolved. I hope that's the reason for the silence.
