Agreed! Isn't it the ultimate in hypocrisy to preach "clean living" while you are molesting and abusing your own children???

Absolutely.

But, it doesn't just happen in small insulated communities.

The scandal with Catholic priests and Dateline's "To Catch a Predator" series are evidence of a lot of men with inappropriate interests.

I, personally, know (not amish) someone who was molested by her father. How many others here know someone who was molested by a father, brother or male relative?

Unfortunately, I don't think it is confined to just those from "different" kinds of lives. Unfortunately, as we have also seen from ministers coming out and Elliot Spitzer, just because someone is tellling "us" we'll get thrown in jail or sent to "heck" for doing something doesn't mean "they" do as they say.

so he got 32 years and wont serve a third of that. and will probably be out in half of whats projected

It looks like the 2 10-year sentences are concurrent and then the 3 4-year sentences are concurrent, which gives us 14 years cut in half for good time. I'm about fed up with this concurrent baloney. If they are given separate sentences, they should be served as separate sentences.
