Detectives believe that the the people with the Dunfermline-born businessman at the time he died, panicked and decided to dispose of his body in order to try and deflect suspicion away from themselves.

NTV Kenya news reporter, Katherine Mwando told viewers: "Sources close to the investigation said Scott may not have been murdered. But rather may have suffered complications after consuming a performance enhancing pill."

She continued: "He may have developed these complications while at Pipeline Estate Nairobi, the last location he was seen alive. His injuries may not have been from a violent attack."


I dunno I’m not buying this.
Sounds an awful like victim blaming doesn't it?!

The two men appeared in court accused of withdrawing money using the 58-year-old's bank cards.
The new suspects were arrested in the coastal city of Mombasa on Saturday.
Police believe Mr Scott visited a house belonging to one of the men, where he was killed.

Police in Kenya have named three men wanted in connection with the murder of a Scottish businessman whose body was found in a sack of pineapples.
The country's Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has released images of the men, who they believe are linked to the "brutal murder" of the 58-year-old.

They have been named as Benard Mbunga Mbusu, Samuel Musembi Kamitu and Alphonse Munyao Kilewa, also known as "Edu".
