LOUISVILLE, Ky. (TCD) -- A 20-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly punched his girlfriend's twins in their genital areas and put one of them in a laundry machine.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (TCD) -- A 20-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly punched his girlfriend's twins in their genital areas and put one of them in a laundry machine.

According to WAVE-TV, the Louisville Metro Police Department received a call from the Norton Children's Hospital after 5-year-old twins were admitted for blunt force trauma injuries to their genitals and forehead. One of the victims reportedly suffered other wounds to their abdomen and liver.

WDRB-TV reports the injuries were described as "extreme."

Morley was arraigned before Jefferson District Judge Tanisha Hickerson Friday morning, where a not-guilty plea was entered on his behalf.

OUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A man is facing child abuse charges involving the twin children of his girlfriend who he was taking care of.

The alleged abuse happened at the UofL Scholar House Campus.

The Scholar House says Morley is not and has never been a part of their program in any capacity and that child abuse should not be tolerated anywhere and especially isn’t tolerated on their campus.

He was arraigned Friday and is scheduled to be back in court on July 24th.

FYI the Scholar House appears to be a transitional housing program for young single parents attempting to get their feet under them. It looks like they offer college courses, housing, and other resources. Not sure how this young man came to be on the campus or watching the twins but I sure hope they recover and life goes a bit easier on them moving forward. Mr. Morley can fall off the face of the earth for all I care.
