LA-FBI Seeks info to identify a POI in a child sexual assault

(KTAL/KMSS) – The New Orleans Bureau of the FBI released images of an unidentified man they believe can help identify a child sexual assault victim.

Law enforcement obtained information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The images of John Doe 49, the male pictured in the FBI poster, were sourced from a video believed to have been produced on or before July 2024 and are being shared with the public in hopes that members of the public can help identify and locate him.

I think the number might be 1975.

I also think that number could be part of a birth year. It almost looks like you can see part of another number following the 7.

Like you, I thought he was 49. I looked further at the FBI poster (at link) and it says he’s John Doe #49.

John Doe 49 is described as a White male between 45 and 65 years old, bald, with a dark goatee. He has at least five visual tattoos: the word Dabby on the right
side of his chest, 197 followed by possible additional unknown text on his left bicep, and additional tattoos on his left and right forearms and right bicep

I think the last number is a five because you can see a vertical straight edge half the length of the previous number, at the top. Only a five has the right characteristics.

Authorities are searching for a man from a video that was believed to have been produced in July of 2024.

During the time the video was taken, John Doe 49 was bald with a dark goatee.

According to the FBI, he has at least five visual tattoos, most notably the word Dabby on the right side of his chest and 197 followed by possible additional unknown text on his left bicep.

The other forearm tattoo says ‘Cast No Stones’, which is the title of a recent country album by Cody Jinx.

His third tattoo, 197, looks like it has either another number that is barely visible due to the angle of the photo, or another tattoo directly after the number 7.

197 is the California penal code for homicide committed during self defence.

197 is also the tattoo for the Imperial Gangsters or Almighty Imperial Gangsters. One of their logos is a crown, which could be the indistinguishable tattoo. Additionally they feature the pink panther or the letter G as a logo.Some examples here.
