Crowley Police and family members are looking for a local man who went missing Friday.

James H. Breaux is 86 years old and has a medical condition, and his family needs to find him.

He was last seen leaving Rayne and heading back home to Crowley Friday afternoon May 13, 2022. He was driving a 2015 white Chevrolet Silverado crew cab pick-up truck with license plate C281416

Police say he last used his bank card in Iowa, LA on May 13 at the Pilot Gas Station at around 7:30 p.m. He was last known to be traveling west and will likely use back roads and be driving very slow.

He usually has constant contact with his daughter and girlfriend but has had no contact with either since Friday at around 3:30 p.m. police say.

Breaux is described as being 5'11" with white hair and beard, weighing around 180 lbs. He was possibly wearing jeans and a gray t-shirt, with black medical alert bracelet.

According to a flier, Breaux is known to frequent Coushatta Casino in Kinder, LA.

Those with information on Breaux's whereabouts should contact Crowley Police at 337-783-1234.

Rayne to Crowley is only about 8 miles.

When "driving" down the road map in the little google "car" using street view I hated seeing all the water beside the road on Rt 90 from Rayne to Crowley, but my husband said he thought those were rice fields and probably only flooded with around 5" of water (to grow rice). I felt better, but maybe locals can chime in as to if we're way off.

So it says his bank card was used at the Pilot gas station in Iowa, LA. He could have stayed on Rt 90 all the way from Rayne. Or did he stop in Crowley and leave again?

From Iowa, LA IF he was headed to the Coushatta casino mentioned in the article it's a straight shot up Rt 165. Looks like it's about a half hour drive for a person driving normally (not sure about a slow driving one - as mentioned he did in the article).

But he didn't use the card until 7:30pm, so IF he was going to the casino had he already been there, or was he still headed there? MOO they need a very thorough search along the entire route:

Breaux could be facing serious medical conditions. Crowley PD describes him as harmless and unarmed.

A family member told News 10 that he’s showing possible early signs of dementia.
