Former St. Francois County sheriff's deputy, wife charged in plot to sexually exploit a minor

David and Karlie Blankenship were arrested Thursday, according to court documents.

David K. Blankenship, 39, and his wife Karlie Blankenship, 28, were charged with one count each of first-degree attempted sexual trafficking of a child and attempted use of a child in a sexual performance, court documents said.

They seem so ordinary on their facebook pages. Not all them do, sometimes you get such a creepy vibe, but other than being a bit over the top pro LE (which is understandable given their jobs), nothing stands out. Look at his smug face in that mug shot though.
