Hiya, today my access to Websleuths was blocked by Cloudflare and I had no idea why ~ nothing has changed overnight that I was aware of.
Luckily, we're back to simply checking that I am human ~every time I log on to WS. And every time I wait a while before posting.
Don't know to what or whom I owe my return either, but thank you, universe.

If such a block happens again, how do I contact WS? I'm not on FB, so that won't help me.

Same for me, was blocked all morning. I also get stuck with the verification on my ipad but it works if i open a new tab. I blame my old ipad for this, though.

WS has been under DDoS attacks for some time now. I suggest letting @Fraize know. He might be able to tweak the settings. Where in the world are you? (which country. That info might help him. Or you could DM him to have a private convo about your specifics.)

Indeed – we were getting hammered last night right before Tricia's marathon "It's The End Of The World Again" live show. To borrow some Star Trek parlance, I had to raise shields to keep the server from melting down. I apologize if any of you were caught in the crossfire, but I think I have a better understanding of the nature of the attacks, so if this happens again tonight, I'll be able to handle it without forcing more "Prove You're Human" alerts.

Knock-wood, we're looking good now, so we're back to normal operations, but if you see this again, I hope you'll bear with us!

Fingers crossed it won't happen again. If it does, can the collateral victims rest assured that you will revert the shield as soon as possible? I need my WS morning dose, but, being in Europe this means I have wait quite a bit until it's morning in the US so it can be solved. Not an easy task.

Right before I disabled all the filters, I set up a new bypass to handle your region, specifically, so even if I have to lock us down again, you specifically should be safe!

I am new and would like to find out how to search cases I would like to help solve. How do I do that? Thak you!

Look in upper right corner where it says search and type in the name of a case your interested in. Like say you want to see if there are any threads addressing Trump for example. If you type in his name and click on search Trump's name will pop up and show the forums/threads about him. ​

Search for threads, search the specific thread you are on, search the specific forum you are on, or search everywhere. If you want to read posts from a specific poster then type in their name.​

You can post your opinions on the threads but make sure to say it is your opinion, MOO means my opinion only. You can post facts about the case but then make sure to post a main stream media - MSM - LINK to verify your information.

I still have to prove I am human too. Not great but I’ll take it, it beats not being able to access WS at all. I hope the DDOS attacks go away for good and we can get back to normal.
