MY THOUGHTS:
It is said that Aguilar was homeless at the time of his disappearance. While I deleted some in this post, we see on his Charley project what appears to be multiple mugshots however that’s just because of the horizontal black lines in the background, and I suppose this could alternately be some kind of workplace company photo collection spanning 10 years?

Did Mark have a history of mental health, substance abuse or alcoholism? Homelessness isn’t always caused by this but often times it is, especially if you’re in a low COL area and still homeless

Did Mark historically work in construction or other type of work? His name suggests he is American born, not an immigrant, but perhaps due to his ties he still engaged in temporary blue collar or migrant work which, in the case of foul play, can make investigations a nightmare.

Coming from a personal background of severe mental and neurological health issues myself, I can relate to a gritty life, and have been on the streets briefly in the past, and may be again some day.

The general vibe gives the potential that one should not ignore the idea that maybe, if he has alcoholism or substance history, he could have holed up in a hidden or abandoned or even a desolate area around town in order to have a substance session or rest, and passed away due to OD or even just natural causes, liver failure etc. Often times, people who are homeless will pass away in hidden nooks and crannies of town. Wooded areas; but this is Santa Fe so there probably aren’t many wooded areas. Usually these decedents are found within 5 years but if he had mobility and ventured outside of town then it could be undiscovered for longer.

I am only going on what I know, but if his brother and family are determined, I would consider tent cities, the homeless community, and unidentified decedents obviously. My last question is, despite homelessness, did Mark have access to a vehicle or did he ever like to travel outside of town using busses or anything like that?

The above ideas are my main considerations. I’m LESS inclined to consider things like drug-related foul play (probably more common with healthier, cleaner cut dealer types than homeless users), I am less inclined to consider any kind of organized foul play due simply to the idea that he was on the skids and if someone did harm him, you would think it would be by way of being attacked on the street and found there, rather than an organized body hiding that is so thorough he hasn’t been found in almost 10 years but without knowing his ties I guess you just never know.

Challenges and answers to my questions are encouraged to sort out possible leads.
