Re: Missing Person

The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a report of a missing person. The individual reported missing is Daniel B Sayre, age 45, of California. Daniel is described as being 6’3” tall, 190 lbs, blue eyes and brown hair.

He was last seen in Racine near the ODNR boat ramp. Daniel was visiting his father in Racine and stated he was going for a walk. Daniel left his father’s residence on foot and has not been seen since.

This was officially reported to the Sheriff’s Office this evening and Daniel has been entered into NCIC as a missing person. Search teams are currently being put together in Racine by local residents, the Fire Department, and the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office.

Please contact 911 immediately if you see Daniel or know of his whereabouts.

Has anyone seen it reported what time he went for a walk? If it was dark he could have accidentally ended up in the water or simply gotten lost, daytime, not near as likely.

I found a Daniel Bruce Sarye, in Pleasanton CA, right age, has family in Racine OH. No public records that would be pertinent to this event. Daniel Sayre (147 matches): Phone Number, Email, Address - Spokeo

At least one of the relatives listed are posting on FB with interesting information regarding his possible phsyical/psychological status if he's not taking his medication. Obviously, a lot of people are concerned and I hope he is found soon.

I'm so sorry to hear this, his family spoke lovingly of his brilliance, but also stated to LE the risks when off his medication. My heart breaks for them.
