Portland modeling agency owner arrested on sex abuse charges

"The owner of a Portland modeling agency with dozens of young clients was arrested today on 10 counts of second-degree sex abuse and 10 counts of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor. Michael William Fox, 41, the owner of Vault Model and Artist Management Company, was booked into the Justice Center Jail where he is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail. He will be arraigned Friday.

"...Detectives are interested in talking with other clients of the agency who may have been victimized by Fox. "The detectives want to know whether this was a one time event, or if there was a history of predatory behavior..."

He's the owner of a modeling agency. As a former model I can already tell you that there is going to be a long history of predatory behaviour coupled with a lot of young people afraid to come forward in the thoughts that they will be blacklisted from the industry.
